Perfect from estimate (flat $180 fee to clear drain, $20 extra if I wanted acid treatment which I did not). Lowest estimate of the 3 plumbers I called. Said they would arrive that afternoon 4-6pm, Omar and Josh arrived at 4, pulled a disgusting blob out of the shower and while they were there went ahead and cleaned a bathroom sink drain out too. Done in 30 minutes, spotless work. Professional and courteous. Couldn't ask for better experience, would definitely hire again.

I have used Abacus Plumbing several times at one of my rental properties and at my home. They are pretty consistent about being punctual and professional. I did have one problem this time when after 4 hours after the proposed time they were supposed to be there they finally showed up to a tenants apartment. When I called the manager the next day and discussed the issue with him he was apologetic and arranged for a partial refund to my account for use with future service with them. While that isn't as nice as a cash refund I did feel as though it was appropriately handled and I will use them again for future plumbing services.

First they called 30mins before to make sure I was home, then they called when they were in my driveway . He came in and put on booties to make sure not to track dirt etc. Fixed my plumbing problem and then checked my water heater for free!

Firstly, Agustin arrived at the opening of their given service window (almost unheard of), so we didn't have to wait around for hours. Yay! The work took longer than would be expected because of some non-standard plumbing from the air conditioner that had been put in by a previous owner, using the same drain as the shower. The hose from air conditioner and the metal grid in the shower drain made using a snake nearly impossible. Because we have some original cast iron sewer pipes, we cannot clear drains chemically. The plumber managed to clear the drain. I opted out of the inspection because it did not include camera, and I plan to have the whole house video inspected this year because of the age of the original pipes.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Plumber came promptly. Stopped drain was identified very quickly. Truck with 100 ft cable was unable to unstop although a sizable quantity of cloth was removed after many attempts, using a lower price truck. A higher price truck with better equipment quickly got the drain unstopped. Workmen were efficient and courteous. Difficulties and prices were explained before work was done.
Recent Review: The service tech was punctual, very professional and friendly. The company has a gps tracker so the customer knows where the tech is in route to your home. Awesome experience. I wish I had called sooner.
Recent Review: I had a different company come out earlier in day and they looked at my shower for 1 minute and told me that I would need to remove the entire thing and replace the shower pan below (major construction). I didn't really feel great about the recommendation, knowing it would easily be $1500 minimum just to remove, so I called Santhoff for a 2nd opinion the same day. Technician came out and told me exactly what to do to - which was a great temporary fix (and something I would only need to do every 3-4 years). Cost me $50 to buy the supplies he suggested and PROBLEM SOLVED. Second opinion saved me thousands of dollars.
