AquaProof IncAquaProof gives 1st class service and quality It is rare for me to find a contractor that goes above and beyond my expectations. Danny and his team at AquaProof wildly exceeded them. My daughter recently bought a house in Covington built in 1890. The structural inspection showed a dire need to have the stacked rock wall fortified and waterproofed. Several companies in the foundation and structural repair business declined to bid on the jobdue to the complexity and risk involved. AquaProof knew exactly what to do and how to do it. The quote was fair and in line with other quotes that I’d received. What sold me on Aquaproof was their solution would give me better quality and security that the repair was done correctly The crew that did the work was amazing. There were glitches and unexpected problems but they knew how to resolve them; they did so at no additional cost even though to tool more time and materials. The communication and attention to detail during the two days of the job was excellent. When finished they went above and beyond by repairing the landscape. This is a good company with good people and excellent service. You should definitely consider them for what you need. Jim Murray- Jim M.

AquaProof IncI had a small, 1st floor bathroom that was an addition at one point, I think. Slab on grade. The foundation for this room was cracked and leaking water, underneath the bathroom floor. Don't ask me how we found out. ;-P A lot of foundation companies did not get back to me, I think because the job was too small (because I did not want to waterproof my entire basement. AquaProof was responsive and well-priced. They dug the foundation out all around the bathroom, patched the crack with concrete, then tar. Laid a drain tile around the foundation, then tied it into an existing storm line. On the inside, they bolted on concrete strips over top of the crack, then filled in the floor with concrete. Knocked everything out in two days! It's rained heavily several times in the months since then, and no more leaks!- Gerard S.

AquaProof IncVery good experience. The owner personally came out and provided an estimate. We were scheduled within a couple of weeks. The crew came in and were very professional and well equipped. Owner checked-in on the job. Job was finished on time and on budget. We would definitely work with AquaProof again.- Andrew C.

Everdry Waterproofing of CincinnatiI bought my house in 2016 and the house came with the everdry warranty. In 2017 my sump pump went out and it was an emergency so I went to a hardware store and got a new one and everdry was kind enough to reimburse me for the cost to fix it due to it being their pump. And in 2018 I found a leak on the back of our house coming through a crack in the foundation. Within 3 days they were at my house and had it fixed in no time. 100% recommend this company to anyone that needs a dry basement.- Jacob B.

Ohio Basement AuthorityWill and his associates did a wonderful job. They were very efficient and left no mess. The work was finished quickly and we have had no leak since completion.- Theresa E.

Indiana Foundation ServiceThe total job was well done and has a life time warranty as long as the house is here. They worked very hard and cleaned up as they went I was always kept informed when any problems arose and had input on how to proceed.- Robyn H.

Stealth FoundationTheir work ethic is amazing! We are impressed that they were able to complete the job in 2 days. They truly did leave the area as clean as possible and we are thankful for that, even though it was just a basement space used for storage. We were grateful for walking us through the process and adjusting the plan when we had an additional request.- Janice M.

Everdry Waterproofing of CincinnatiOur 60+ year old home has experienced water in the basement on several occasions during our 21 years of ownership. This only happened after abnormally high amounts of rain and would often go several years between occurrences. We had our basement remodeled about seven years ago and all wall coverings were removed exposing the bare concrete. No cracks were discovered. When water did enter the basement, it appeared to be entering at floor level in two locations. As such, we felt the most probable cause was the exterior drainage at the base of the foundation was either collapsed or plugged allowing water to enter between the footer and basement floor. After some research, we felt Everdry presented the best solution based on the design of our home. We scheduled a sales call for June 13th during which the rep surveyed our home, explained the Everdry solution and presented the proposal. Our home required approximately 156 linear feet of inside drain and about 55 feet of exterior work. The work would include installation of a sump, two pumps (AC and battery powered), plus their E-Z Breathe ventilation system. The total price presented was $20,888.00 and supposedly included discounts for having a friend/family member referral, a military discount and an on standby discount. I felt that the sales approach was somewhat high pressure and would suggest that you get other proposals prior to having Everdry present their option. I was presented with only a total price and if doing it again would ask to see a detailed breakdown on how that number was calculated. A down payment of 30% was requested with the balance due upon work completion. The next workday following our signing of the contract, Everdry called and scheduled our job for the week of October 12th – 13 weeks out. The crew of six men showed up on October 12th and quickly began work. They completed the outside work first and on the second day began work inside. We had already removed breakable items and moved the furniture away from the exterior walls and the crew made some adjustments before covering everything with plastic to create a dust barrier. They jack hammered through the basement floor all along the perimeter walls and this creates A LOT of dust which permeated the entire house. They certainly did their best to control the dust, but it is a dirty job. Our finished basement has vinyl plank flooring installed over large part of the basement. They removed this as carefully as possible about 30” from all exterior walls along with the baseboards and molding. The crew showed up at about 7:45 AM each day and worked until approximately 3:00 PM with an hour lunch break. They all worked consistently and seemed to know & anticipate what had to be done. They completed the job on October 16th as scheduled. The cleaned up their mess both indoors and out well. Two weeks following completion of work, a Quality Inspector scheduled a visit to inspect the work completed and review the experience with us. We were advised that due to curing time, floor coverings should not be reinstalled for at least eight weeks and preferably not until after the next event that might cause water entry. Since our flooding occurred so seldom, we are now in the process of re-installing the vinyl plank flooring. Although it was carefully removed, it is not locking together well and may have to be replaced. If your basement is finished, you need to carefully consider whether your floor covering can be safely removed and reinstalled. Everdry assumes no liability for the removal replacement of the floor covering. This was a very major and expensive project plus the jury is still out on whether it fixed our problem. I am retired and was home to observe all the work as it was completed. I felt the Everdry team knew what they were doing, completed their work well and was respectful and careful of our home and its contents. I feel like the Everdry solution was right for our home, but you need to do your own due diligence.- Thomas Y.

Recent Review:
I'm very pleased. I had concerns about dust and fumes from the epoxy. The dust was minimal and fumes were not an issue at all. If I had to do it all over again, I'd set up a box fan with filters, as I've seen on YouTube, but even without that, the dust was not overwhelming. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and welcomed my checking in on them. When they went to lunch, they cleaned up their work area, (even put the toilet seat down in the basement bathroom), something I didn't expect at all. I had questions when they were at lunch, and the salesman got the answers I needed quickly. A couple of things I would change about this process: 1. After they were done, cleaned the area for the day, and put their equipment away, one of the workers invited me downstairs to approve their work. If I had not approved, it was a bit late for me to object as they were packed and ready to go. I suggest in the future the homeowner be asked for their approval before everything's packed up. Their work looked good, but this seemed like a manipulative tactic that wasn't appreciated. 2. The more experienced of the two workers explained early on that he needed to remove some insulation but assured me he'd put it back when he was done. When I saw that he'd not put it back, I mentioned it. He refused to put it back, saying "It doesn't matter". It was an odd way to end a perfect job up to that point. I was totally pleased with how everything was handled, and then that comment and behavior from him just put a bad taste in my mouth. That evening or the next day, I received a very nice gift from the company that was just a really nice touch. A couple of weeks later, we had heavy rains and I experienced water along the walls where the work was done. Within a week of me raising the concern, an arrangement for a technician to visit my home was made. I appreciate their prompt attention to the matter. I expect it's very simple like needing more epoxy at the base of the straps, so I decided to go ahead and submit this review. It's difficult to find trustworthy people to do work in your home. I'm very relieved I found a company that is totally worthy of that trust and highly recommend Acculevel. The work they did looks good and solid.

I hired Maufran Construction to complete the excavation, block foundation, and concreate interior for a 32' x 26' three-car detached garage. The job required the removal of an existing concrete turn-around area and a significant slope of approximately 6+ feet on the back-side of the area, new concrete footers, several feet of back-fill, and a finished concrete slab. Mauricio was the lead for the project. He was very responsive and provided competitive quotes. His company had the experience and expertise you would expect to find in a big business, but with the professionalism and responsiveness, of a small business. Initially, there was a minor language barrier, but it did not impact the project scope, professionalism, great work, or finishing of the project. Since completing the first major project, I have hired Mauricio and his business again for additional work. I would recommend Maufran Construction to any home owner who is looking for a hard-working crew with professionalism and experience at a reasonable price. I can add pictures if allowed.

Recent Review:
First off, I do a lot of work on my own. So paying someone to do something for me isn't the common path that i take; however, when it comes to concrete work, even if the city would allow me to do it myself, I don't have the knowledge and tools to do it properly. That being said, I needed a new driveway and sidewalk and wanted to support a local company when doing it. I found Dwayne Spille via a list of contractors certified to do concrete work in the city. Now this spring was a rough time period for outside contractors and the weather was not very coooperative. But my only issue with the Dwayne Spille, was just time to return my initial call to get a quote, I think it took 2 weeks to get a call from my email i sent him. I was about to start calling other places, the day he called me up. Outside that, Dwayne showed up, gave me a great quote and know how to handle my request. The removal to complete time was 3 days, the crew showed up with a bobcat, dumptruck, and everything they needed to do the work quickly. I was very impressed with his crew, their mannor, and how they left the job site after completion. I know when I was researching concrete companies there weren't many reviews so i wanted to make sure i left some. Also it's been several months since the work has been done, I've had no issues, I feel really great about the service i recieved.

Excellent. Jeff has been great to work with; he is personable and accommodating to making our space exactly how we wanted it. We had a large screened room and deck added to the back of the house, as well as two windows taken out of our dining room and French doors put in. The new deck area makes my house feel significantly bigger and our family has already begun enjoying this new outdoor space. Hinsford provides good quality work with sturdy construction and materials. I plan to continue working with Hinsford Building in the future.
