Cracks in driveway were sealed but we expected the cracks to be filled so they don't show. A little disappointed that the slurry only seals and not hide the cracks. Too expensive to repave. They had the best price and driveway does look much better.

May Sealing fixed a small gash in my driveway caused by my snow removal contractor. Mike May, the owner, came out the same day I called him to give me an estimate and he thoroughly explained what work would be done and what to expect from the job. The job was completed the following afternoon. I have used May Sealing in the past and have always found them to do great work. I will have them back when it warmer this summer to seal the entire driveway. They also gave me a 10% Angie's List discount.

They were very nice folks to deal with and did a great job at a very reasonable price. They filled all the old cracks and did a nice job of sealing. I was concerned about sealing getting on the stucco and columns in the parking areas but it was all neatly done. Michael even offered to find a replacement drainage grate for me without additional charge. I can recommend them highly.

My initial call was returned in a timely manner, always a good start. Price was good. Job was scheduled conveniently. Quality of work was excellent. What more could one ask. I give Michael my highest recommendation. If every trade conducted themselves like this, we wouldn't even need an Angie's list, but alas.

We used Bay Area Paving to repair and seal our driveway. I evaluated three companies before choosing them. While not the cheapest, they were competitive and the best value. The owner, Chris Quinn, is very professional and responsive, and I liked dealing with the owner. As with most contractors, be on site the day of the work, in case the crew has a slightly different idea than you've agreed to with Chris. On two items for us, this helped, and all worked out fine. Overall, they did an excellent job. I'd use them again and highly recommend them.

Doug got back to me within a day or two of my sending him an email (unlike most other companies). He gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled a time to come out. Rain put him behind schedule, but when I explained I had a party planned for the next day he had his crew over to my house in an hour. They spent a long time cleaning the driveway (it needed it). The bill came with an extra $10 for cleaning, but I was OK with that given how thorough they were.

Got an estimate, no problem. Waiting for good weather (which took quite a while, but I got on the list in the winter), then because of a change weather, they came on a Saturday. Great for me. Two nice workmen came on time. They filled the cracks, left for while while they dried, then came back and filled another crack they had missed. Then they applied the sealer, and the guy who does this is really experienced. Very careful and detailed, like a house painter goes right up to the edge freehand. Impressive. They were done before lunch. They put up cones to prevent anyone driving on it, and of course, a squirrel ran right through the wet sealer...when they came back the next day to remove the cones, he fixed the squirrel tracks pretty well and a track where my gate wheel had been. Piece of cake. Everything looks awesome and my neighbors are swooning over it! Great job, well done for a reasonable price. Nice owners, office staff, and crew. Recommended!

Called, talked to owner, very flexible time wise, got a fair estimate. Agreed on price. Arrived on time. Did job per estimate time, owner on job. Family owned business since 1989.

They did a fantastic job. They had very talented people who knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them to others. They provide quality work.

it went very well. Came out on Labor day did the work for the price that he said he would I was very happy with the result. I have recommended him to two other people.

Very disappointed. Quality of work unsatisfactory. Uneven surfaces throughout, not compacted to standards, loose material… it appears to be their first time… would not recommend!

Glenn was easy to work with, gave a clear bid, and did the work on time and just as we had hoped. Will be bringing him back in the Spring for a re-seal of the whole parking area.

Terrible. I thought the cost was too high to begin with, but I had a time factor, and he could do the work immediately. But, he did not use the right materials, he did a poor job, and 10 days later, it's still not dry. Even walking on it leaves permanent, tarry footprints. My driveway looks worse than before the job was started. We did reach an agreement for a refund of all but $125 for materials, but with the mess my driveway is in, I feel that's still too high. I will say that Nick was very polite, and returned my phone calls immediately (the only seal coating company that did), and showed up precisely when he said he would.

I had talked to Doug when he was doing my neighbor's driveway. He came by a few days later, and we told him what we wanted done. As we had a power washer, he used that because the last person to seal the driveway had not done it properly and the top was coming off. He cleaned the drive and came back the next day and did the work. Doug is very hard working and very easy to work with.

Our driveway had not been sealed for about 15 years, but following Southbay Paving's recommendation, two coats filled many of the cracks completely. Job was postponed a few days due to damp weather, but I was notified in advance of the delay and the job was done per quote and looks great!

ALL STATE PAVING IS A COMPANY THAT PROVIDES PAVING, GRADING, SLURRY SEALS AND RESURFACING, ALONG WITH FREE ESTIMATES. WE LIKED THAT THEIR ESTIMATION FOR OUR DRIVEWAY DID NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL WORK DONE ON OUR DRIVEWAY, AND WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE WORK THEY PERFORMED.

We have a very steep driveway with a sharp 90 degree turn. Roots from multiple eucalyptus trees had lifted sections of the driveway. Upon contacting Community Safety Services (CSS) and appointment was promptly scheduled and we were given two estimates: One to resurface the driveway and another to remove/replace the bad areas, and then fill cracks and seal the remainder of driveway. We elected for the less expensive option. The work was scheduled and performed promptly without and issue at all. The owner, Justin, was very concerned that everything be as it should. The repairs melded very well into the surrounding driveway in spite on being on a steep section, and rounding a curve. Everything went great!

they didn't use the tack coat, didn't compact well, left blank spots, put down about a quarter of the thickness quoted. The stuff is completely unbonded and crumbly in spots and started coming loose in a day. They didn't seal it yet, and are not returning text or calls.
