El equipo de vóley femenino de la UA consigue la clasificación para la Copa Princesa por primera vez en su historia

El equipo federado de vóley femenino de la Universidad de Alicante, que milita en la Superliga 2, ha conseguido el pase para disputar la Copa Princesa por primera vez en su historia. Las universitarias accedieron a la fase final de la competición copera tras vencer al Mairena Vóley en un partido aplazado disputado ayer martes 21 de diciembre.

Instructor-led physical activities, with quarterly or monthly registration (daily booking of sessions also possible)

  • QUARTERLY REGISTRATION: From the 20th day of the previous month
    • Paddle 1 and paddle 2: From the 23rd day of the previous month. In March, sessions of these two courses will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • MONTHLY REGISTRATION: From the 23rd day of the previous month
  • DAILY BOOKING: no earlier than 4 days (96 h) prior to the relevant session

The UA Academy organises its first panel discussion with elite athletes

This Tuesday 20 December, the first panel discussion of elite athletes was held in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Education. The panel discussion, targeted at UA Academy athletes, was titled “El resultado es importante, pero el proceso lo es mucho más” (“The result is important, the process is far more so”).

UA Running Programme

The UA Sports Service has a training programme for runners. The programme aims for scientific knowledge to be applied to sports practice. You will have a qualified coach (a graduate in Physical Education and Sports Sciences) in charge of directing the training sessions.

Exercise Programme for Over 55s

The UA Sports Service has a free programme exclusively for students, admin, service, academic and research staff over the age of 55. Through this programme they will receive specific training to reduce the effects of ageing, whether biological (sensory, cardiovascular, respiratory, body composition, brain function, etc.), psychological or social.
