Updike Bathroom RemodelingOur goal was to update our bathroom by removing a never used garden tub and replacing it with a large, low maintenance shower. COMPLETE SUCCESS! Dan listened to our ideas, and used his design skills to fashion the type of shower we envisioned with angled walls, no door, and a low-profile entry with just the right amount of glass. Jeff was assigned to do the job from start to finish, and you seldom encounter an individual as talented and easy to get along with as him. He handled not only the demolition of the existing bathroom, but was able to do the required plumbing, electrical, dry wall, sub floor, and installing the cabinets and vanity top without the need for involvement of another contractor. The floor and wall tile was laid with precision, and Jeff made sure the work areas, both inside and outside were cleaned up at the end of each day. Matt and his team completely remodeled our home over the past 9 months, beginning with bedrooms and bathrooms last summer (May - August), then finishing the project this winter (January - March) with our Kitchen, Dining Room, Great Room and Den. With each stage of our project, Matt provided a detailed estimate, a design plan with technical drawings, a full project schedule, and consistent follow up. His team was friendly, highly skilled, and they showed up on time every single day. They even cleaned up after themselves each day! I was most impressed by Matt's attention to detail and his commitment to delivering quality work. This attribute was revealed multiple times over the course of our project, but best demonstrated prior to removing a load-bearing wall between our kitchen and great room. We had a great conversation, so I invited him over to give me an estimate and walk through the design. Soon, other companies responded as well. Based on the discussion on site with Mitch, I accepted his proposal within minutes - even before receiving the other quotes. I was that impressed. The installation crew led by Frank was top notch. I watched them work diligently all day, other than the 11 light fixtures, you can’t even tell they were here. I can not wait for the sun to go down to see how it looks - somehow though I have no doubts it will look amazing. I needed to add an exterior coach light to the front of my brick garage. Jim and another man cut through my brick, tapped into power from existing coach lights, fed a new line through the brick, and mounted a new light. They also replaced 3 existing exterior lights with new ones. This was my second interaction with Jim, the first was to repair the loss of power to a room in my house. Every time has been very positive, I highly recommend Aaron's Electrical.
