Matt and his team completely remodeled our home over the past 9 months, beginning with bedrooms and bathrooms last summer (May - August), then finishing the project this winter (January - March) with our Kitchen, Dining Room, Great Room and Den. With each stage of our project, Matt provided a detailed estimate, a design plan with technical drawings, a full project schedule, and consistent follow up. His team was friendly, highly skilled, and they showed up on time every single day. They even cleaned up after themselves each day! I was most impressed by Matt's attention to detail and his commitment to delivering quality work. This attribute was revealed multiple times over the course of our project, but best demonstrated prior to removing a load-bearing wall between our kitchen and great room. Boyd Restoration RemodelingThe project went well Brian, the owner was easy to communicate with and very detail oriented in planning asking questions about things we would not know to ask. Honest about pricing in making decisions along the way. Thinks of choices like a water filter/hot water dispenser for the kitchen sink. Presents the idea and does not pressure if we don't want it. Who wants to have to add it later, cheaper with the sink installation. His primary carpenter is skilled and trustworthy, works well with the laborers. We bought a townhouse built in the 70's and well cared for but not updated. All of the flooring was replaced but the biggest and best part of the job was the kitchen remodel. Started with a galley kitchen, gutted it and took down the wall that formed a hallway opening up our small living space, it looks great! A support beam was required and LED pot-lights installed. Cabinets are a mix of stock and custom, very efficient space planning for a cook going from a kitchen with tons of storage to a small kitchen with very little additional storage space. Good painter. Was able to handle a difficult problem with wood rot and bug infestation in the laundry area that required safely replacing a part of the structure of the exterior foundation. Crawl space insulation. Also a broken floor joist in a main floor bedroom that was planned for. The bathroom has beautiful cabinets and tile and is planned for present and future needs. Versatile small company, professional and doing great finish work. It was a job for them but a major deal for us, not just in cost but in making it our home for many years to come. TruBlue Total House Care of CarmelTruBlue arrived as expected, had their work order ready to go and immediately got started on my rather long list of tasks. They persevered and accomplished (just about) everything to my satisfaction. The two techs (Darrell and Jesse) were personable and professional and went out of their way to insure I was pleased with their work. I'm sure the work could have been done cheaper, but I'm not sure I would have been as satisfied. I already know I have a few more tasks and will definitely be hiring TruBlue again!- Ann H.

Lifestyle Group Residential RemodelingA great experience! We have used this group on 4 different projects to remodel two bathrooms and to build a year-round mostly window sunroom and a side porch. In addition- this team was able to do a repair on a dormer of our home that 4 other companies were unable to fix- preventing additional water damage (even though repairs are not normally in their scope of work). The crew was amazing and the communication of how the work was progressing was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company to design, execute and polish any home remodeling or building project. They were flexible in the work plan- allowing us to save some money by us pre-staining the wood for our cathedral ceiling. They were creative in helping us to find solutions so that we had the exact outcome we pictured and desired. Very hard working crew, friendly and polite. Cleaned up the work area as well. CUTTING EDGE HARDSCAPESThe crews did beautiful work. It was dusty, as should be expected with work of this type, but we had no problem with them cleaning up the considerable demolition. The crews arrived on time, if not early, and sometimes stayed late to finish the day's work. The final resulting project FAR surpassed our expectations. Neighbors and friends drove by and I heard many favorable comments. Due to COVID-19, we were home everyday and were very flexible about the timing for the workers. The only delay was for waiting for the delivery of the ceiling fan that WE ordered. GREAT crews, GREAT design, GREAT experience!! A+- Rebecca L.

Joe Schmo Electrical ServicesShannon came to give us a quote on the job about three weeks ago. He was professional, really listened to our ideas, offered suggestions based on his expertise, and gave us a reasonable quote on the same day with no pushy sales tactics. Joe Schmo Electrical was scheduling work about three weeks out. On our scheduled day, Shannon called us when they were 30 minutes away and arrived at the originally scheduled time. Once again, he and Tony were pleasant and professional. They obviously were experts at their craft, and they worked hard to complete the agreed upon tasks. As they were working, they found some wiring issues in the attic room and fixed them at no extra cost. That says a lot about their integrity and workmanship pride. Even though our house is in a state of renovation, they were careful to protect our kitchen counters and cleaned up before leaving. I never knew I could be so excited about electrical work, but it has made such a difference in the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, living room, and attic bedroom. They look bright, cheery, updated, and even larger. My husband and I agreed that it was worth every penny we spent on this part of our renovation project. A spare remote transponder was placed in a second ceiling fan (which also needed safety-based maintenance) and now we have two fully-functional ceiling fan/light fixtures.
