Michaelangelo's Sustainable Landscape & DesignThe Michaelangelo's team were superb in every way. They worked with what we had, listened to our ideas and were flexible when we made adjustments to add a concrete pad for a future chicken coop at the last minute. The materials are perfect and we have the yard we spent 8 years dreaming up. The team was professional, showed up on time, asked questions and cleaned up afterwards each day. They made a sloping backyard in a 1964 house that was a HOT MESS a shining star of our home. We roasted our first marshmallows last night and were admiring the quality of the firepit build! American Landscaping CrewTo say American Landscaping was fantastic would be an understatement. I've never seen people work so hard or so diligently. The workers never stopped or sat around. We quoted out several companies and went with them not only because the quote was more detailed and inexpensive, but because of the great work they did for close friends of ours who recommended them to us. They said the same thing I'm saying here now. Ruben worked with us and our budget and Hugo was great in walking us through options and possibilities. They really helped us when there was a massive rainstorm and we needed to add a dry creek bed in addition to the river bed we installed on the other side. They really went above and beyond to make us happy, which was no easy feat and was within our budget. They also adjusted to us as our vision changed and the project unfolded. They really did everything right. Some of our neighbors who recommended us to the bigger companies that did their landscaping are all having problems with the lawns now, simply because of the poor work done to their system of water drainage. Really glad we didn't go that route. Plus, we were able to do significantly more to our yard, which is more than twice as big, for less the cost. Hope this helps whoever reads it.- David R.

American Landscaping CrewDue to Covid and teleworking full-time (1 yr+), I decided it was time to make my home more peaceful and a sanctuary. American Landscaping Company (ALC) did an outstanding job; they were fair, listened to what I wanted and what would (and would not) work in my yard and responded to all my questions immediately! Ruben, Hugo and their team (it was nice to see a woman as part of the team) were professional, respectful of me, my time and my home. To ensure that I would have no drainage issues, grass would grow and that I could appreciate and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, ALC installed two catch basins and down spouts that went from my backyard to the street, added sod and an irrigation system (in my front, back and side yards), installed a beautiful dry creek bed, a gorgeous retaining wall and huge stamped and sealed concrete patio, and finally planted trees to give me privacy from my neighbors. Hardrock Landscape Construction Co.What a backyard transformation! Casey had great ideas and suggested ways to save money in expanding the patio and replacing our deck and front stairs. We have a beautiful stamped concrete patio, rock wall, front stairs, and deck with covered pergula. He started with a detailed proposal and sat with us to explain what to expect and what not to expect. In this pandemic chaos, there were numerous difficulties with material availability, delivery delays, gas shortage, etc. Casey handled those with a minimum of disruption and was good in communicating with us. The project actually finished ahead of the proposed time. Very professional and hardworking. The crews were top notch, very knowledgeable, and hardworking with a friendly attitude. We used Progreen outdoor solution for our backyard project. Todd Jennings has completely reimagined and transformed our backyard. Our backyard was on a very steep slope as such there was limited usable and safe space for our 2 ½ year old daughter to play without worrying about accidental falling and injury. Todd was referred to us by our two friends for whom he previously completed projects. Todd provided detail and thoughtful design to us. From the moment we look at his drawing, we immediately realize the tremendous property value and safety improvement our backyard will receive. Todd has been diligent throughout the project from applying for a permit, to addressing all questions and comments from the city building department, to making modifications to the plan and scope of the project. He was very generous with his time and patient with us in walking us through every step of the project. He would stop by our backyard to supervise and check on the progress almost on a daily basis to make sure the construction is on track and according to his plan. The team who constructed the retaining walls, installed the pavers for the walkway and steps, and rerouted the irritation system did an excellent job. They kept the noise and dust to the minimal which was appreciated as I worked from home during the whole time. I am very happy with the end results. Todd’s design allows us to change the grading so we ca have a flat grassy surface as a playground for our daughter. He added more usable space under the deck with pavers which is beautiful. We can now enjoy a picnic in the summer and a firepit in the winter in our backyard. He added retaining walls to prevent erosion which was a problem before. He completely transformed our backyard with the landscape, hardscape and retaining walls installation. Above all, I can tell Todd and his crew really care about making sure me and my wife are satisfied. We feel they are paying the kind of the attention to detail as if this was their own backyard. What a dramatic improvement they made in our backyard. I am also switching the regular mowing and maintenance to Progreen. I highly recommend Todd and his company.
