I chose this company because of the values they structure their business around, which are also highlighted on their webpage: paying a solid hourly wage to their movers, supporting local communities and economies, supporting NPR, and giving well rounded advice on everything from moving with children to minimizing the environmental impact of moving. The movers, who were also the owners, were friendly, efficient, and very hard workers. There was great communication, they were always on time, and they did a great job of protecting my furniture and belongings during a long-distance move. Their quote was competitive with other companies and actually ended up costing less than what they had quoted me. Took the stress and strain of loading up the truck off of us so we could focus on the long drive ahead. JOG Moving LLCExcellent! Only one wine glass stem broken, and that could very well have been the way I packed the box of glasses. They took charge loading my belongings, and took care to ask where I wanted them to unload the items. I had a freezer I wanted to go to my son's house. Enroute they unloaded the freezer and put it in his house where he wanted it. I had a junk built-in cabinet in the new garage. I asked them to tear it out and haul it away. AAA Moving SystemsThey were great - again. It was the same crew that moved us into our rental in February and they were friendly and remembered us. They were very careful with out stuff and were considerate about not knocking into things and putting things in the appropriate rooms in the new house. Affordable Actions Moving ServicesI LOVE this company!!!! Mr. Clarence sent a team of 3; Terry, Jason and DJ. They worked their butts off. Not only that, they were polite, friendly and very conscientious! They even hooked up my washer/dryer. The attitude was "can-do" and they so obviously took pride in their work. They also took pride in the fact that they work for Clarence. His price was more than reasonable and when I ran into a snag with getting large items to the trash; they also did a trash run to the dump for me. And during the entire time, Clarence checked in with me via telephone and then physically came out to meet me and insure that everything was going well. I haven't seen this kind of service in ages. Anyone moving should do themselves the favor of hiring this company. I hope to never have to move again; but, if I do, I know that I will be calling Clarence and Affordable Actions! Affordable Actions Moving ServicesThis is the second time I have used Affordable Actions. Both times they were prompt and professional. Both times Clarence went above and beyond to make sure my daughters, and me as a single mother, were taken care of. He came back on both moves to help with minor issues, which while minor, weren't things I could take care of on my own. This is always appreciated but especially during stressful times such as moves. As a bonus, both of my daughters also genuinely enjoyed his company. I couldn't have done this without Clarence and his team and I am extremely pleased with the service provided.- Karen V.

Affordable Actions Moving ServicesOur move required the owner to rent a larger truck which set them back some getting started in the morning. However, once they started they worked as hard as anyone I've seen. They handled our move like true pro's and packed the truck to the last inch. Nothing was damaged. They drove 2 hours to unload us and when they saw they were running late called in a fourth person and no additional charge to us.I will always use this company for future moves. Awesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

The actual moving itseld went very well, there wes some light damage and they did not provide me with any follow up information about fixing the said damage. They overcharged me $597 which is equal to almost 30% of what they quoted. Finally, they also have not returned my phone calls so the charges would be rectified.
