Air RightThis is what we had them replace and they did a fantastic job. Ruud Condenser unit, Ruud furnace blower unit, Aspen Plenum evaporator coil, Flue adaptor kits, Honeywell T-4 thermostat They were on time ( a 1/2 hour early) and stayed at 114-degree heat until the job was done. AIR ZONE COOLING & HEATING INCMy central air stopped working on Sunday night (during one of our famous Las Vegas heat waves). I called late on Sunday night, and Jacob from Air Zone was at my house by Monday early afternoon. He inspected the unit and quickly found a problem - one of the fuses for the air conditioner had blown. He said he needed to find-out why the fuse failed, and he found that the capacitor was bad (which caused the fuse to fail). He had all the necessary parts on his truck, and we were fixed up within about 15 minutes! One thing I really like about Air Zone (I've worked with them before) is that I trust they will only fix what is broken and not try to up-sell you on expensive repairs you might not need. Jacob talked me through why the parts failed, what I should look for in the future to spot a similar failure, and gave me some tips on maintaining the outside part of the air conditioner. We have two units at our house, and the other unit kicked-on while we were talking about the one he just fixed. He said, since he was there, that he might as well check the other unit. He did a quick inspection and said we were good to go (again, not trying to push any services I didn't need). When he was finished, he cleaned-up all of his tools and left us very happy with our repair. It's great to have found an honest and skillful air conditioner repair company. Thanks to their quick service, we didn't have to move family/pets to other parts of the house (or a hotel).- Don B.

Sun Country Heating and CoolingWe were looking to replace both of our 18-year-old original-construction lower-end Air and Furnace systems. From the onset, the proposal from Sun Country H&C was clear, honest, thorough and well-documented. Mike was very familiar with his Trane product and the industry, in general. He had honest and credible answers for all of our questions. His proposal was followed-up with emailed fully-itemized documentation of his proposal. Further, his proposal included the benefits of seemingly all available company and government-offered energy rebates. Also, we found the labor Warranty to be generous. The subsequent installation process was accomplished in one day with a large crew. All of the installers were friendly and respectful of our flooring, with drop cloths. It is definitely possible to find less expensive proposals for Air and furnace replacements from among the multitude of HVAC contractors in the Vegas area. However, we are very happy with our new (higher-end) Trane system and the installation by Sun Country Heating and Cooling.- Craig P.

We noticed a stain on the ceiling and worried we had a plumbing leak, but a plumber advised us to contact an AC company after a quick inspection and saw the pans that capture the condensation were at a weird angle and weren't attached properly to the line. He recommended Lin Air, and we were happy to contact them as we'd used the same company in our old house and they did a great job. Lin Air sent two men to check on the unit and they gave us worse news than we expected. They'd taken at least a dozen or so pictures of the set up in the roof and it was a disaster. The motors were not properly hung at all and the bearings and such were shot, also the electrical wiring was not done correctly and the condensation pans weren't even connected. The only reason we hadn't seen more staining is because we live in a dry state. The owner of the company, Brent, reached out to us and advised us to contact the company who did the install and to the maker of the AC unit to see if they'd make it right for us since the job was so bad (we bought the house after this first install so we had to do a bit of research). We hit a lot of brick walls on that and reached back out to Lin Air and Brent gave us a good price and explained everything he needed to do and why. His crew came out, set up, worked cleanly and quickly to replace both outside AC units, suspend the motors properly in the roof space, make sure the electrical was correct, make sure the pans were connected and did the thermostat install as well. Brent came out and spoke with us during this time and came back one more time to chat with us about the install and go over some of the details of registering the units (a critical factor if you have an AC install). I would absolutely recommend Lin Air to anyone. They worked quickly and efficiently and went over everything with us after the fact.

They came out about a month ago to do a routine service check. The technician was very polite and personable. He told me my small AC unit was working great and that my larger unit needed about 1k of repairs or it wouldn't make it though the summer. They completed the work, but in retrospect, I should have had a second company take a look. A few weeks later, my smaller unit conveniently stopped working. The same tech came out and informed me the compressor was now suddenly bad. Originally quoted me a little over 2k to replace it and then informed me he called "the office" and they forgot to add charges so it would be closer to 4k. He asked them to send a salesperson out to discuss condenser replacement options. Scott came out and was very polite. He quoted me over 12k to install a new Trane unit. That seemed high so I told him I'd sleep on it and let him know. I had another company come out and they confirmed the compressor was bad. They suggested I replace it with a Trane unit and quoted me $3,200 installed. I messaged Scott to thank him for his time and to let him know I was going to have the work done by another company since it was about a quarter of the price. Scott's reply back to me: "The equipment alone is worth more than I quoted you. Can I get this guys number? I need some more AC's also" Only contact this company if you want to overpay and deal with unprofessional salesmen. There's probably a reason they had to change the company name from "Vegas Strong".

Not well. I had 2 plumbers say faucets needed replaced not cartridges. Air Pro Master or home warranty company decided the cartridges needed replaced. No communication just showed up and replaced cartridges. Also a 5 hour window for serviced . Seems like they should be able to schedule better. They did call 30 minutes before showing up. Their response was faucets are not leaking. Correct but I’ll be replacing again in a year. Past experience shies this to be true.
