Recent Review: The new sliding glass door and adjacent windows were installed on time and at budget. Both interior and exterior finish detail is excellent. While I had him there, I asked for a quote on a "minor" bathroom remodel (replace existing tub, sink and toilet) and before I was finished, it became a complete gut job. Freddy just smiled and said yes when I asked for changes and was very fair with the add-on costs to the project. The new travertine installation was done with great attention to detail, especially the new tub deck. There was a slight glitch when the medicine cabinets were installed a couple of inches too low (based on the plan) which required changing the faucet and cutting the vanity legs a bit to make everything fit. It was a relatively minor hiccup in an otherwise pretty involved project. The end result is a cohesive, bright, modern bathroom (thanks to a good design...) and very well executed by Freddy and his crew. So, after the bathroom turned out so well, I asked for a quote to paint the kitchen cabinets, remove the old appliances, install new ones, and again because I kept asking for more, the final result included adding a couple of new cabinets, plumbing for a dishwasher, new sink and faucet, lights, hardware and counters and painting the entire condo. Freddy did an excellent job fitting a new cabinet in a space that wasn't completely plumb, using a combination of mud and trim to make it look perfect. He's a good problem solver and proved this over and over. He recommended sound insulation in a bedroom that shares a wall with the neighboring unit, an excellent suggestion that works beautifully. The neighbors confirmed they don't hear a thing. He also suggested skim coating the walls and ceiling to make them smooth and while it did cost more, the end result is fantastic! It was a great time and cost saver that Freddy or a member of his crew could handle the minor plumbing and electrical changes without waiting for outside subcontractors. Oh yeah, he also removed old brick from the fireplace hearth and created a smooth facing giving the fireplace a clean, contemporary look in an otherwise architecturally non-descript mid-century unit. He's a very agreeable fellow and rolls well with changes and do-overs, and there were lots of each. He had keys from the beginning of the project, and it wasn't unusual to find him there on weekends and holidays finishing something. The unit was vacant during this time. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or refer to friends.

Recent Review: We had a fantastic experience with Enrique's Tile. As part of a larger house renovation, Roberto and his brother Juan tiled the floors, walls and shower pans of our 3 bathrooms, the kitchen floor, the laundry floor and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround (32x71 tile pieces). They worked fast but were also very meticulous. They also have a great eye for design. Without me even asking, they arranged each tile piece as it made most sense given lines and patterns. And the fireplace wall almost looks like a single piece of slab! Their suggestions for grout colors on each area were also spot-on. We were thrilled with the overall final look. A great experience and would be happy to work with them in another future project.

Recent Review: We haven’t purchased anything yet, but we are going to. They gave us good information; they were able to explain everything and recommend somebody to come out to look at our fireplace situation. They really knew their stuff.

Recent Review: THEY HAVE A SMALL BUT NICE SHOWROOM AND WE WERE ABLE TO FIND A NICE CONTEMPORARY FIREPLACE INSERT. BESIDES THE ACTUAL FIREPLACE, WE HAD SOME CUSTOM SHEET METAL WORK DONE TO HIDE THE OLD FIREPLACE OPENING AND THEY DID INSTALLATION. ONE THING NEVER WORKED RIGHT UPON INSTALLATION, BUT WE DIDN'T NOTICE RIGHT AWAY AND ONLY DISCOVERED IT LONG AFTER THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. WE NEVER ASKED THEM TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE.

Recent Review: Very knowledgeable and competent during the installation. Sales and installers were personable and answered all questions along with offering recommendations. Scheduling was also flexible.

Recent Review: So far all the work is completed and it looks beautiful and the fireplace runs well. The fireplace door needs adjusting and they are supposed to come back soon to do this. The only negative thing was the scheduling. Our estimated schedule date got pushed out once but the re-assigned start date also got delayed. This 2nd delay was only pushed out one day but we were told on Friday that the installer couldn't be here for the Monday install date. I had arranged for time off work a long time ago for the Monday installation so that was irritating.

Recent Review: I had an old tract house, ugly looking fireplace that I wanted to replace. The people at Canyon Fireplace (sorry, I've forgotten any names) were very helpful in picking out a fireplace style that I really liked. The lead time was a few weeks to get the fireplace mantel. The installers showed up at the scheduled time. They were courteous and helpful with a cable I wanted to string around the fireplace. They did a great job and the fireplace looks great.

Recent Review: THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND WORKED VERY WELL WITH OUR BUSY SCHEDULE TO FIND A GREAT TIME TO PUT IN THE FIRE PLACE AND REMOVE THE OLD ONE. THE NEW FIREPLACE WORKS GREAT, VERY GOOD INVESTMENT.

Recent Review: Working with Hash and the team at Bay Area Fireplace was a great experience all the way through. It started in their showroom - we explained the scope of work we needed done - we looked at some samples and talked with the rep in the showroom to start getting some design ideas. However, the real design work started when Hash came to our house. Hash listened to what we were thinking and then he shared some great ideas based on his experience - he was very personable and never made you feel rushed or pressured for time - when you hear him speak and give suggestions, you know he is very experienced and knows what he is doing - you have full confidence in his capabilities . We locked on a design, he came back within a week with a 3D rendering and very detailed quote. We quickly closed on the details and the pricing - there was no need for drawn out negotiation back and forth as his price was very fair and clear from the beginning so no feeling ever of trying to be taken advantage of. They were booking 45 days out, they gave us a start date and they stuck to it. They showed up on time with a full crew of folks - at one point there was 6 people hustling on the job. They worked non-stop for two and a half days to finished the job exactly when they promised they would. They took great care to cover all our furniture and the work area to keep the dust to a minimum. They cleaned up really well after themselves. The best thing however was the final outcome - the remodel work was simply awesome - the detail and attention to quality was fantastic - we could not be happier with the whole experience start to finish. I actually have Hash preparing a quote for additional work I need done at another property. I can't say enough positive things about the team - highly recommend them! His nickname I understand is Dr. Hash because he truly is a professional craftsman that cares about what he and his team does. Jason.
