I am a visual learner, so when he made this amazing 3D design using the exact measurement of my house, he by far blown my mind with his experience and knowledge. SOD Home GroupWe highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. We do a lot of our own repairs , and have had many contractors doing projects too, but we found SOD Home Group to be by far the best construction company we have ever seen or worked with. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, on time, clean and the quality is fantastic. Oren is knowledgeable about whatever he is working on and always kept me updated on whatever aspect of the job he was working on. A wonderful person to work with. SOD Home GroupWe had such a positive experience with SOD Home Group, especially in working with Oren that we feel the need to write a review in case if someone else out there is searching for the same type of work on their home or even just a good construction company/contractor to work with. Prior to SOD Home Group, we worked with another contractor who not only didn’t deliver but took off with our money. We then contacted other contractors hoping they can do the job or recommend someone who is reliable to do the work, but it turns out they can only perform smaller projects. We decided to just give up on our vision of having a complete remodeling project of our home all together since it was too difficult to find someone who could take on the job and be trustworthy. But every time we looked at the wall it bothered us, I know first world problems, so we gave it one last shot. We sent a request out to multiple construction companies and SOD Home Group was one of the few who responded. When Oren came for the initial consultation, he was very well prepared, knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of details on what was involved (permits, inspections, cost, etc) so we knew we would move forward with SOD Home Group because of him. Long story short, we couldn’t be happier to have worked with him. He was very proactive and transparent throughout the entire process, updating us on timelines and of any delays. The best part of all is that any concerns we had or imperfection that we pointed out, he happily addressed them and got them corrected until we were happy with the results. He rolled with some changes and we couldn’t be happier. Oren was there every day to make sure all was going well, and he responded quickly to any text or question I had.Another thing I like about working with SOD Home Group was that everything was in writing. There were no surprises, and he did everything (actually more) that was agreed upon.We had SOD Home Group rebuild our entire home including the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, entry, garage and more…. Besides that, he added a set of stairs with 2 landings down the side of our hillside home. Part of the work was to remove the popcorn ceilings & re-plastering, removal of drop ceiling lights and install new lights instead. Premier FlooringI reached out to Premier Flooring in the afternoon and Javier Ramos from Premier Flooring responded within the hour. The next morning Javier met us at the job site to discuss the job and work out details for getting the materials from the carpet supplier. The very next morning Javier and his crew were picking up the purchased carpet and pad to begin the installation. As soon as they arrived at the job site, I could tell that these guys were very experienced. They worked as a team quickly removing the old carpeting/padding and preparing the sub-floor for the installation. They were able to complete the entire 2nd floor carpet installation without the need for a single seam. Very impressive! They were highly effective, the carpet was installed flawlessly, and there was virtually no damage whatsoever to any of the newly installed and painted baseboards. They hauled away all of the old materials for disposal and the entire job was completed by noon. I've worked with many contractors over my lifetime and I can honestly say that Javier and his crew from Premier Flooring are one of the best at their craft.- Ed B.

The type of materials, the paint of the walls, the combination of the cabinets and more and more… were picked up one by one to deliver us a ‘look like new‘ home. SOD Home GroupWe recently completed a significant renovation to our house, including an overhaul of our kitchen and two bathrooms. SOD Home Group did a superb job ensuring this renovation was completed quickly, safely and beautifully with the highest standards possible. Oren, who is unflappable, an excellent communicator, led the renovation and pays great attention to detail. He should honestly teach a course on time management cause the guy knows how to very juggle several projects without missing a beat. We were overwhelmed with the prospects of the renovation, but Oren allayed all fears and led a great team of professionals to make the renovation a success, and it was completed fairly quickly given the size and extent of renovation. Oren and his team’s wealth of experience came handy in tackling our bathrooms that are smaller. One bathroom was really dark and felt closed in. Oren suggested adding a sky tunnel, something that we never would have considered possible, and initially decided against. However, we changed our minds, and we were so glad we did! The sky tunnel made a tremendous difference, opening up the lighting in the bathroom. I sit this as an example of how the team never pressured us to add on extra costs but would work together to find excellent solutions that were reasonable. Oren would lay out all options and explain the context behind each, but always defer to us without pressure on what decision to make. We really appreciated that as any renovation, particularly with an older house, is bound to have issues come up. It also showed Oren’s flexibility since we initially waved off the suggestion, but then later came around to it. We could write several more paragraphs regarding how incredible the entire SOD Home Group team is and cannot stress enough how grateful we are to all of them for making this a stress free effort. I'm very glad to have chosen Budget Flooring for this job. I received multiple quotes from different contractors but felt most comfortable with Budget Flooring. I was very impressed with Vlad and Devan as they were professional, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. Vlad provided the quote in a timely manner and kindly made adjustments based on my material preferences. The demo and installation went very fast...taking only 4 days to complete everything. I called all over SF and French Bros was the most responsive, informative and sensible in their recommendations. Their rep Nick came out for the estimate and was professional, courteous and offered to re-tack the carpet in bedrooms to smooth it down when they installed the new (100ft!) hallway carpeting. NOT PUSHY at all!--didn't try to up-sell or steer me to more expensive products. A pleasure to work with and the staff on the phone have all been genuinely nice. My tenants are young ladies and of all the guys coming to estimate the job, they felt most comfortable with having Nick from French Bros in their home. A lot of weirdos out there. The vibe you get from people is important too, not just the price. French Bros had a competitive price too. My tenants love their cushy new carpeting and I'm thrilled it got done so quickly. The whole project was done in less than 2 weeks. I would use them again in a second and recommend them unreservedly!

ABC Remodel did a FANTASTIC job. Mr. Orhan Baser and Mr. Richard Betancourt would personally come to review the work and inform their workers what and how they expected the work to be done. But what also impressed me is that both were very kind to the workers but also did not allow for any negative behavior or sloppy work. It was amazing. They took a terminally basically destroyed house and turned it into a home, a palace, an oasis. I could not believe the transformation of the house. I had no experience in remodeling, and with the help of Mr. Baser and Betancourt they would advise in terms of which tiles to use for my needs, appliances, and on top of that, transformed the entry to an upstairs unit to be more private, thus turning the house into two private entries. In addition, I had an official laundry room with sink and all, which before there was none. I was so touched by their care and attention to details as if it was their own home they were remodeling. I would with eyes closed recommend ABC Remodel to anyone who wants quality, on time work. Oh, and they stand behind their work, responding quickly to any requests. I'd do it again. Because quality is rare to find these days, and cheap work is available but the quality, the workmanship is absent. It's a great investment! It's worth every penny!

Our kitchen was original to the house from 1931, including the faucets coming out of the wall, old wood cabinets that had layers and layers of paint, pink and light blue/green tiles as the countertops, a small area for the fridge that was currently empty, linoleum floors, and a weird column right next to the stove that turned out to be a stubborn brick column. We really needed someone to demo everything in the kitchen and upgrade it to a functional, usable, and modern kitchen. We first contacted Heartwood Residential through Houzz and Nick was prompt to answer and schedule an appointment do discuss our project. We had already talked to a few general contractors at the time and had an idea of what we wanted to do, which included removing a wall and getting rid of that brick column. We brought up the brick column with the other contractors and each of them said it would be a structural issue and they really didn't want to deal with it even if the price was not an issue. Nick was the only one who voluntarily went to check out what the brick column was in our basement and had any knowledge of what it was for. Turns out, it's for gases to escape and ran from our basement to the attic or roof. Another issue I had with other contractors was that they really wanted my husband to be there when they came to check out our kitchen. When I asked questions or expressed my opinions, they would look at my husband to answer the question in a round-about way. My husband really didn't like them because they didn't respect me at all. I also bought the sink, fridge, dish washer and a few other items while they were on sale and one of the other general contractors made a snide comment about what I picked out. Nick and Michelle were very accommodating with including the appliances and finishes that I already bought into the design they presented and they were able to find a way to hide the brick column and come up with an elegant design to the entrance of open kitchen. When Heartwood Residential started the demolition of our kitchen, they prepped our house: covered the floors, moved furniture, sealed off other rooms so most of the dust would not get into the other rooms. I set up a go-pro to take a picture every minute of the demolition and explained that I wanted a time lapse of this whole process, and they were very accommodating -- even moving the gopro to a better angle to get the whole thing. I would ask them questions about what they were going to do in the mornings and they didn't hesitate to stop and explain what would happen that day. At the end of the day, they would clean up and put all their tools away. If there were any issues or if something didn't look right, Nick, Jamison, Brandyn, or Elliot were prompt to call or text us to get it addressed. For example, we have curved ceilings in our dining room and since they removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen, the ceiling to the kitchen needed to be curved too. The issue came up with painting the wall and ceiling different colors and the solution was to add crown molding, like what we have in the other rooms. When I insisted that we use hue LED strips to light up the bottom and top of the cabinets, he said they can make it work and they did, even having the electrician come back a few times to make some adjustments. Towards the end of our project, I went around our kitchen and inspected almost everything. Some of the backsplash tiles were crooked, there were a few scratches on the cabinets, a few cabinet doors were not straight, etc....there were a lot of post it notes around our brand new kitchen to say the least. I can say that Nick and his team (mostly Brandyn) addressed each post it note individually with me, fixing each crooked tile, each hole or scratch, or each cabinet door. One thing that did go wrong with our project a delay because wrong sized cabinets were ordered, but I guess it turned into a good thing because they were able to use some of those cabinets to build a storage cabinet that fit next to our washer and dryer. To finish the project up, Nick personally came to check each item off, moved our washer and dryer into their correct spots. Overall, we're very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the services provided by Heartwood Residential. They were a pleasure to work with, always keeping us in the loop with what was happening during the renovation, we were comfortable leaving our home in their team's hands while we were out, and overall attitude of everyone from Heartwood. They were definitely a pleasure to work with and will be the first ones we call for another remodel.

I hired California Construction Center to remodel my bathroom. Ez and his team from CCC shoved up on time and they were very professional, efficient and quick. Ez was very communicative, honest and helpful with his valuable ideas.
