  I purchased a big swingset from a wholesale store, and it arrived a few weeks later in a single 1000-lb freight crate and about a million pieces. I'm not bad with this stuff - usually- but all the reviews I read online for this behemoth said that it was taking even experienced DIY'ers and several of their friends at least a full weekend to assemble. I'm just one mom with no adult assistants and a houseful of impatient kids, so I found the Assemblymen online. They have a ton of awesome reviews online (and I'm sure this is just the first of many to come on Angie's List), so I went to their website and requested a quote. The response email was almost immediate, polite and professional, and the estimate was fantastic. I didn't respond immediately because I wasn't sure what day would work, but Renaldo called me the next day to ask if I had any questions, and at that time I picked a date. Then I changed my mind and asked him to come earlier if they had any openings. Renaldo and I talked several times over the next week or so as he did his best to expedite the project, in spite of the fact that it's a full day project AND it's thunderstorm season here AND it's a metal swingset (read: lightening rod). Renaldo and Rufus showed up a day earlier than my original request, called the day before to confirm and on their way in the morning to be polite, and worked hard all day. Like all DIY kits, there were clearly pieces that didn't quite line up as expected or little bits of hardware that were off, but these sweet guys never got frustrated or grouchy. I would have been swearing and bleeding within about 10 minutes, but I never heard so much as a and quot;Darn!and quot; from either one of them - seriously impressive! It helped that they'd assembled the exact playset several times and knew the tricks I never would have known. At the end of the day, my kids had a beautiful, complete, safe and sturdy new swingset and I didn't have to do it, and we were all very, very happy. The Assemblymen were pleasant and professional the entire day, even in the worst heat. They were also pretty clever - clearly they both have a knack for engineering and problem solving. If they can tackle a massive headache like a large playset, imagine what they can do with a project from IKEA, or Home Decorators, or anywhere else - it seems like everything today requires at least some assembly. The next time I have a and quot;some assembly requiredand quot; project on my hands, I won't hesitate to call the Assemblymen. They're nice guys who do good work for a great price - can't beat that

  I was in search of a nice playset for my backyard. I searched many stores, looking at the varying qualities from Walmart, ToysRUs, Costco, others online as well as Childlife, Woodplay, and Backyard Adventures. It seemed you get what you pay for! At first I had no desire to pay more than a $1,000 for a playset for my kids but after looking at the quality of those, I found my budget going up and up. I ended up purchasing a Woodplay playset from Woodplay of Jacksonville. They were having a sale, and given they are a "factory owned" store their prices were actually lower than if my sister bought one from Woodplay in Orlando. I decided to 'splurge' and buy the high end redwood one as it comes with a better warranty, and given I was spending so much, I wanted to ensure it would last! Also, the price of the Woodplay INCLUDED installation which was a huge plus for me as my husband and I would have taken days and many arguments to put it together! The 2 men team were able to assemble it in just hours and it looks great. Bud, the owner at the store, was extremely helpful in answering my many many questions as I debated for weeks on which swing set to buy. I also visited the "Backyard Adventures" store in Jacksonville and found that while their prices were about the same (again, high end swing sets) I wasn't as impressed with the quality or the service from that owner. While I still can't believe I ended up spending $3,000 for a swing set, you do get what you pay for and it is a very high quality redwood set which my kids love. For example, the beams are thicker, the rock wall is built better, the 3 swing beam has one swing separate and gives more room per swing, etc. If you are in the market for a swing set that is built to last, I would recommend buying from Bud at Woodplay of Jacksonville

  I was considering using this provider to assemble a basketball hoop-- ended up being able to assemble it myself with a friend's help instead. While I did not end up using this provider, I was impressed with the number of assembly types they provide and other favorable reviews. I may use them in the future based on this

  I ordered a children's wooden playset for my daughter's birthday and they were able to install it within 5 days of my order to have it ready for her party. They were very professional and accommodating. Removed my old playset at no extra charge and did a great job installing the new set for me. Overall my children and their friends were very happy!!

  Renaldo and Chris showed up on time and worked a full, hard day. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of planning and care taken throughout the process. They spent quite some time finding the most level spot to ensure the safest construction. It rained h****** and off throughout the day, but these guys maintained a great attitude and courteous demeanor the entire time. It was also extremely apparent they had assembled this set and others like it many times before. I found that particularly reassuring. Playset came out beautifully

  These guys are the BEST!! Ranaldo and his team really went above and beyond our expectations. We hired Assemblymen to assemble a basketball goal at our home in Ponte Vedra Beach. The crew was very professional, curtious and did a nice job on our goal. There was one minor mistake with the installation that affected the height of the basketball goal. We didn't notice this mistake until a few days later after the assembly job. I called Ranaldo and without hesitation he said they would come back and fix the problem. His crew leader followed up by calling and confirming their 2nd appointment. The crew was again fantasitc when they came back and they had the issue fixed in no time. Like I said, these guys are the best and we would highly recommend Assemblymen for your next assembly job! Mike Anderso

  There was no way I was going to try to put it together by myself. Ranaldo came and he was a rock star. Had it put together in under 3 hours, all by himself. Would have taken me 3 days! He was very professional and super nice when my daughter kept peeking in to see how the progress on her new bed was going! Highly recommend Assemblymen!
