Designer Lifestyles LLCWe are over the moon with the service we received from Designer lifestyles. When using a company, Jon was by far the most communicative and professional person to come in and give us an estimate. They were polite, professional, competent and efficient. They kept the area clean and were in constant communication with me during this project. As with any project there were a couple of unforeseeable hiccups, but nothing that wasn’t easily and quickly remedied. The final cost was only about $500 more than the estimate we received prior to beginning the service. We feel that they earned every penny. We dreamed up our install in our head and they brought it to life. We will definitely use their service again for a future needs in our home, and do recommend their service to friends and family. They removed a wall, repaired the floor under that removed wall, repaired and painted the drywall, closed in two enclaves, installed upper and lower cabinetry with an area for wine, installed a wine glass rack, under cabinet lighting, quartz countertop beautiful backsplash, soft close drawers and doors, put in hardy board and new beautiful tile floor to ceiling around our fireplace. Final cost was about $11,000. The entire job was completed in about three weeks from start date.- Christy K.

Everything was as quoted and on time. Thomas kept in very good contact with me, answering all my questions in a timely manner. Johnny and the crew who did the work were just super, they do excellent work, very professional, they went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased. The thing I am most happy with are the clean lines where the walls meet the ceilings. I know this can be difficult when both the walls and ceilings have texture and I have seen some really botched paint jobs as I was shopping for a home. The painter, Diego, did an excellent job! Stone work left a mess of grout/cement on the windows, screens, and porch which they did clean up after we complained. However, 6 weeks in the door is not hung properly and numerous calls, emails, and texts have resulted in it being corrected.

I requested an estimate from Mr. Howell and he came to my house on a Saturday. Was pleasant enough and said he would have estimate on the Monday. On Monday I asked him when I could expect the estimate and he indicated it would by 6:00. Meanwhile I had decide to hire another company. I told him never mind on the estimate and Thanked him. I then get back this text from him: "Sn sorry for that hope they do a bad job for you since you are rude and nasty I told you I would have it to you Monday when I left your ertimate please never call my company back will never work for rude and nasty people like yourself" In my mind this was very rude of him and just because I decided to go with someone else, doesn't make me rude. I never said a rude thing to him. I'm glad I discovered his true personality before I hired him. Can't say anything about the quality of his work, but beware this dude has an attitude. He insists I was the rude one, but I have text screen prints to prove who was rude.
