We were so happy when we finally found Tim. We had so many companies out that did not want to touch our very old concrete pool that needed repairs and resurfacing. He gave us a super reasonable price compared to the others and his workmanship was great. Communication was pretty good and they had to work around the weather because we had it done very early in the year. He sandblasted, repaired, resurfaced, and found a nice solution for the uneven ends of the pool. We are extremely happy with the finished product.

He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and honest, which is so refreshing. He explained everything, gave options, and was reasonable. He gave an estimated time and followed through. His crew was efficient, professional, and hard working. AJ called after the job to make sure everything was okay. I wish everyone took as much pride in their work and displayed the integrity. Bates Electric LLC is a local owned and operated company. The good thing about choosing local is that the money that exchanges hands is invested right back into your home town. Bates Electric is a state licensed insured and bonded company with only 2 employees it is small enough to be there when you need them and big enough to do large jobs when needed.
Recent Review:
They were on time for the appointment. The expression on the representive's face told me he was not interested in doing the electric job. He was at my home less than 30 minutes. He said "I will send the quote over within 24 hours." The quote was not ever received. Apparently they are also lazy and do not want to work. Just for the record; I contacted 6 different contractors on Angie's List and not one of them sent me a quote, gave me a price, returned my calls and some of them did not even respond to emails.. Angie's List is a hoax in my opinion.

Klimat Master PoolsDustin at Klimat Master was very responsive and came out to give us an estimate on pool resurfacing. We ended up taking a different route with our pool due to previous work that limited our options, so we did not use their services. His estimate was thorough, and he answered all of my questions. According to our pool technician, Klimat Master does great work overall. Perkins pools llc.Is there a NO star option? Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this guy. Tim sounds very knowledgeable, but his finished product is much less than expected. We contracted Tim to tile and replaster our gunite pool. Like others have said, the only thing you can count on is for him to show up for his checks. We experienced numerous delays, subcontractors with little to no supervision, and a finished job with jets not working, stress cracks in the plaster, and uneven discolored plaster and unfortunately a leak that he claims no responsibility. Tim's response to all of this is "I just wanted a free water leak test out of him". I am now faced with additional repairs to fix my pool at my additional cost. Don't let this guy take your time and money!- Michael W.

EASTGATE POOLSFirst of all I like my pool; however they got their money and could care less about me from that point. I have a fairly level back yard and I feel that I was taken advantage of with the $15 extra for every inch after 1 foot that had to be dug. There is no way that they had to dig 26 inches in my yard to get it level also the pool cover is supposed to be under warranty and they found every excuse in the world not to cover it. Inland Seas IncWe signed a contract with Inland Seas in October 2020 for completion of our pool in January 2021 at our new construction home. The owner, Harley, required a $24,000 deposit to pay for materials. Due to the size of our project and the crazy COVID world we live in, we paid the deposit when we signed the contract in October 2020 (we have copies of the contract and payment). When it came time to start our pool, Harley pushed us off several times and eventually promised he would begin our pool the first week of March. As March approached, Harley disappeared. He didn’t answer calls, texts or emails. Abruptly, on March 12, we got a generic email that our contract was canceled and we would receive a refund March 15th. Not surprisingly, we have not received any communication or refund. We are being forced to pursue legal action. DO NOT use Inland Seas, aka HBD Creations. Harley will take your money and you will never hear from him again. Where is my $24,000, Harley?- kristina b.

FS ConstructionI heard from them within a day and they started work the next day. They worked regardless of weather, longs days, and weekends in order to get the most important work done. They were on time, professional, responsive, clean, friendly, and did excellent work. They were expensive, but I never felt like I was overpaying, I felt it was fair.
