Russian Language Centre

HSE Moscow offers Russian language instruction throughout the year. If you’re interested in improving your Russian (or starting from scratch), we’re sure you’ll find a programme that matches your level and goals.

How it works

Applications are processed on a rolling basis and can be submitted at any time. Within two weeks of receiving your application, we will send an acknowledgment of receipt. If you do not hear from us within two weeks of sending, please contact International Admissions.  

The start of online school

We are pleased to announce that a summer online school of Russian language begins next week.

Russian online school delayed for one week

We are glad to announce that we have enough applicants for the Russian online school in May-June.

The call for summer school is still open

We have extended the deadline for the Russian language summer courses until April, 15th. 

Summer school of Russian 2021 is open for applications

For the second half of summer 2021 we are planning to offer  an intensive 6-week summer program at HSE campus (it is possible although that the program might be shifted to online format due to quarantine measures) for students with the Intermediate and Advanced levels of the Russian language proficiency from July 5 through August 12.
