Rick Page Quality LandscapingWow! Rick is the best! He is the most responsive contractor I've ever seen, answering phone calls and messages and arriving promptly to begin the work just when he said he would! I had gotten multiple quotes for this job and he was the only one to really stand there and think about how it would look and any problems that they might run into. He had a crew of 5 that worked 6 days on removing an old rotten wood retaining wall, cutting it up and disposing of it, excavating a massive hill to add more flat space to the yard, and putting up two retaining walls with french drains. The crew arrived very early each day but were not loud, waiting until well into the morning to begin louder tasks like cutting the blocks. They did everything so beautifully and skillfully; my yard is totally transformed. I would definitely hire them again for any future needs! I could not be any happier with the outcome of the project! Zingrone LandscapingThe lot originally had concrete rubble, trash, overgrown trees, as well as tons of mice. We hired Zingrone to convert the lot into a useable yard. They cleaned everything up, graded the slope (now the yard has a flat picnic area and a gentle slope), and they planted grass. I am extremely happy with the final result and my dog is too. The Grounds Guys - Mt. LebanonThe work was done exactly as planned and quoted. The stonework looks great and everything was done on-time, neatly, and professionally. Overall I was very pleased and I'm having them quote a piece of follow-up work already. One particular point that impressed me with this team was that after the landscaping team finished there was a hard to reach (and hard to see) area that was not completed. I mentioned this to Robbie and the team was out the next morning to wrap it up. Their responsiveness to my comment is indicative of their approach. For Fortunato Landscaping, Greg is a great salesman. Unfortunately, he doesn't deliver, or honor the warranty and has a temper. 1. exterior lighting. We had talked about putting in exterior lighting, but I had not yet approved. One day I got home from work, and there Greg was finishing the installation at the tune of $2500 on a small lot. He said he assumed I wanted it, but he would take it out if I didn't want it. I told him to let it remain. MISTAKE. It was poorly installed with wire lines running through flower beds, which was only a matter of time before they were going to get cut by a shovel. When I went to have the wires moved, it was impossible because they didn't provide enough latitude in the wiring to move them even an inch further out. Also, the wiring into the connection was shoddily done with exposed wire in some instances. 2. Inferior product. I three instances, some shrubs had dead branches or started to brownout. Greg said it was just trauma from being transplanted. He said he would replace them if they didn't come back. They all died. He did replace them but said it was my fault because I didn't water them. In reality, previously, he complimented me earlier in the summer on my watering. There was a 2 week period at the end of the summer, which I was only able to water periodically for a personal emergency. He billed me for 3 evergreen trees at full retail plus installation. I did not pay. 3. Over the course of a year, almost all of the materials he replanted on my property originally have died. 1 costly tree he brought in died. But the kicker was I had asked for 3 verbena to be planted in the front garden. I told him they did not look like verbena, and he assured me they were. The reality is they were not - they were an ordinary shrub like a butterfly bush. Greg was long gone by then, even though still under warranty- he refused to answer my phone calls, texts, or emails.

This company did my mowing and “lawn maintenance” for spring /summer/ fall of 2019. The plan was for weekly mowing, weed whacking a sloped area every 2 weeks, and doing some bushwhacking ( pushing back rough weeds from one property border) several times over the summer. First of all, the bushwhacking never happened. The weed whacking of the sloped area was done sporadically, although I was being charged for it every other week. At times this area was knee high growth before it would get cut. I started to hand write on their invoices what work was done and what wasn’t, and would adjust my payment accordingly. I started to take photos to support why I wasn’t paying the full invoice. I tried to contact them via phone, voicemail, text, and email. No one every responded. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

We had an 'L' shaped area along the driveway and street that was old and tired. We wanted to rip everything out and replace with new plants and mulch. We worked with Frank who went above and beyond. He listened to what we wanted as far as spacing and plants, gave suggestions on plants even providing samples of 4 different mulches so could get an idea of what color mulch. Additionally, Frank also said they would prune a Japanese maple, trim another shrub and lay new mulch in 3 other areas in the front yard all together roughly a 14' x 6' area that was not part of the original job at no extra cost. I already considered the cost to be fair so that additional work was really something. And the price quoted was the price paid. No surprises. The work was done in half a day with a total cleanup The guys did a great job. Yes i would hire again. I was really impressed with the extra work that was done that was not even part of the original project. it was very generous.
