Support for education is a cornerstone of our commitment to the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard and their families. 

Our scholarships are one of the ways we thank our brave men and women for their steadfast service to our nation, while also ensuring their family members can afford to reach their higher education dreams.

Children of Coast Guard Members

Our scholarship investments allow more Coast Guard children to attend college, and honor both active duty and retired families for their service.

Children of Fallen Coast Guard Heroes

Our Fallen Heroes Scholarship covers 100 percent of the higher education expenses for children of fallen Coast Guard members.

Enlisted Coast Guard Members

Grants for enlisted service-members encourage the pursuit of college, advanced degrees, and certifications, and can be used for expenses not covered by the G.I. Bill benefits.

Coast Guard Spouses

Coast Guard spouses support their service members and families, and we are honored to support them by making education more affordable.

Coast Guard Reserve Families

Annually, our USAA Reserve Scholarship provides support to both Reservists and their family members who pursue higher education opportunities.

Captain Ernest W. Fox Perpetual Scholarship

​This application is intended for qualified active duty Coast Guard, civil service employee personnel or their dependents (child or spouse) at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistic Center in Elizabeth City, NC.
