Hogeland Construction Company, LLCHogeland Construction was the best company that we worked with during the entire build. We began the build right when Covid hit. There were delays upon delays that were out of our locus of control due to Covid restrictions. These delays included in permiting, inspections, availability of materials etc. Covid turn everything upside down. However, Bryan Hogeland was able to adapt to the obstacles and never compromised on the quality of his work. We were impressed by his ability to pivot at a moment's notice to the unpredicted challenges the arose. Bryan's greatest characteristic is his thorough communication. He would even call at night in the middle of a torrential rain storm to make sure that there were no leaks. We can say that I really believed that he was as invested in this project as we were. 3D Home Services, Inc.Scott's proposal and estimate was thorough and accurate. He replaced flooring, toilet, vanity, lighting and wall fixtures. He removed wallpaper, repaired wall board as necessary and repainted. He removed a soffit over the bathtub, replaced the wallboard and added a beautiful border to the existing wall tile. R & A Carpentry LLCAlex was referred to us by our neighbor. He worked on their movie theater room and their bar and I fell Inlove with the work that was done. Everyone was SO friendly. Alex was very very hands on and very professional and really knows what he’s doing. He and his crew were able to install the coffered ceiling beams and wainscoting in ONE day. Their punctuality on finishing the job was quite impressive! They tidied up and cleaned everyday after the work day was over. After interviewing three contractors, it was clear to me that Mr. Stein and his construction company was the perfect fit to build a screen porch in my back yard. Van listened to my ideas, and his design was exactly the picture I had in mind. Throughout the course of the construction, Van was very professional. He was on the job site often, and stayed constantly in touch via emails or text messages. His team did an outstanding job. The attention to details, the workmanship, and the professionalism of every single subcontractor were remarkable. I highly recommend working with Van and his company. He is a perfectionist, and so are the people working with him. I not only have a screen porch in my back yard, I also have a Work of Art!

fantastic - from the detail in the proposal to the execution on time on budget. They took the mantle off, removed and took away the old tile, figured out a way to dispense with some of the typical underlayment in order for the new stone hearth to come out flush with the floor, and installed the new tile. There was some basement reinforcement needed due to the workaround and they did that. Did a beautiful job - from carpentry to tile to painting. AND on their way out moved a ceiling light fixture and repaired the ceiling such that it was seamless. I am a fan!

The workers performed the job in an expedient manner, however I was a bit surprised that while the painters removed old chipped paint, they did not fill in and smooth the surface. I was told that that would have cost extra. I would have liked to have been given the option to have that done. Now I have to do it myself. Also painters should always cover the landscaping. Other than this the job was satisfactory.
