Whirlpool Washing Machine Repair in Ashburn

I was not impressed. His initial response was good but it took 3 visits and a week for this to be repaired. after the first visit he needed a part that took 3 days to get. then when he came to put that part on, he needed another part. that took 3 more days. the only thing I can say is he didn't charge us for the 2nd part. He showed up on the days he said he would but it was alwasys late in the day.

I read and looked up the error code for my washing machine that suddenly quit. It supposedly was an issue with the soap dispenser but everything I did according to the book and online didn’t work. I called appliance geek late on a Friday night. We’re a family of six so no washing machine is a bad thing! The gentleman returned my call that evening and came out the next day. He was very professional, moved my dryer out of the way which wasn’t easy and figured out it was the motor assembly in pretty short order. He had fixed it an hour and put everything back together. Put the dryer back in place as well. Very reasonable cost for such fantastic service! I highly recommend. I kept his number. A good appliance repair person is worth it’s weight in gold!

I had tried to contact 2 other service repair services via Angie's list. Neither responded. I then emailed Mr. Singh and he responded within hours. I called him and he was able to come out the next day and gave me a time frame he would be at my home. The next day, he called and asked if I was available for an earlier time and I was. He came promptly, looked and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He gave me another date and time frame for the next week. The day of the repair, he called twice to let me know that he was running late due to the fact that the truck with the part he needed was late. Mr Singh was very professional, and was very knowledgeable and offered some advice as well on the machine and how to keep it working even though it is an older model. I will be using Mr. Singh again.

The company scheduled service for the next afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprised when they called back and offered to come early. The technician was honest about price for the part and brought it with him. One visit - one new flow valve. Done.

It went pretty well. The service man was prompt and professional. He had to order the needed part, but was able to get the part in and the washer repaired in less than a week. Although they charged a service call for the estimate, they did not charge another one when they came back to repair the washer. Some slight problems with communication with their dispatcher, but nothing major.

Gene identified the leak and repaired my machine on the spot. He was incredibly diligent in making sure there were not any other leaks or problems with my washing machine. I appreciated him being so thorough.

I called that day and they sent someone that evening to take a look at it. He showed up at 7pm and it took the technician less than 10 minutes to determine that the cupling had gone bad. Within another 10 minutes, he had the replacement part installed and the machine was working again.

I called to make an appointment because the cold water in our washing machine was just trickling into the tub. I was pretty sure from surfing the Internet that the water valve needed replacement. I called them because about a year ago our clothes dryer needed repair on a weekend and they promptly sent someone. The total repair came to 132.50 on a weekend, so I felt pretty assured that this simple problem could be repaired as inexpensively. I also had a coupon from the dryer repair for $28 off my next repair. When I called I used the phone number from the ticket for the dryer repair. I didn't realize until after the washing machine repair that the company changed its name from All Time Services to Service Doctors. Jose was very professional and fixed the problem but the bill came to $222.32 with the coupon. Next time I will shop around more.

Called Chris at BelAir on Monday evening, he returned voicemail Tuesday morning. Described problem (washer would periodically stop mid-wash and I would need to open and drop lid for it to start again) and was able to get a 1:00-3:00 window for him to show up and do the work. He arrived at around 1:40 and had the switch replaced in about 15 minutes. His trip charge was $85, and it was another $35 for the part (which I compared to prices online and it was reasonable). I have ran the washing machine twice with no recurrence of the issue since the repair. He noted that it was warrantied 90 days parts and labor - I will update this review if the problem needs to be readdressed. Since the work was quick I asked him to take 5 minutes to look at our refrigerator ice maker, for which I described the problem and he told me the cause and the needed repair - since it is only a minor issue, I'll probably leave it alone, but if I decide to get it fixed, I'll give Chris a call.

They were excellent in every respect! He knew what the problem was over the phone and was able to come out in a timely manner. He came on time, fixed the problem, and was done with no problems. I cost shopped with 3 other companies, and he had the best price of the ones that quoted me.

Let me begin with the professional office staff, the young Lady who took my call was courteous, accomodating and knowledgeable. She worked with me to set up a service date and time. Darryl called the night before to confirm and then again an hours before he arrived . I was able to go to work and then come home to meet him, cutting down on my time off from work. He arrived on time and the 1st thing he did after introducing himself was to take off his workboots not wanting to track on the carpets. He looked at the dishwasher and determined what part was needed and stated he would order it from the warehouse. He then went into my cold cement floored basement to look at the washing machine. My Whirlpool machine was a gift and I did not have the paperwork on it. It had begun to make a clanging noise approximateley first of the month. I have been using my brother's machine. In the meantime, we had a death in the family and I just couldn't face dealing with repairs. Darryl immediately assessed the problem to be the transmisson. He took the machine apart and discovered the three screws which shold have been holding the transmisson in place on the floor. Two had fallen completely out and one was broken. It appears the manufacturer did not tighten them securely. Darryl did, while lying on the concret floor. Once the screws were securley tightened, he ran the machine to see if the taansmisson was damaged and it was not. Being a Nurse and not a repair man, I would not have had a clue as to what really needed to be done. He could have told me anything but he told me the truth. He is a gentleman and a honest man. Kudos to Wooten!!!!! I eill recommend him to all my friends and family.

The technician "Bechir" was prompt, pleasant, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable. After his diagnosis, he informed me that the washer was not worth repairing. I appreciate his advice on what kind of new washing to get. He advised me to go with another mechanical washing machine as the new electronic machines do not seem to be as long lasting as the mechanical machines. Looking at reviews of the all electronic and digital new machines, his suggestion appeared to be correct. I would definitely call them again if my new machine were to have issues in the future. My washing machine was not draining, so I called at 9:00 AM on a Monday (2 days before July 4th), and he was at my house before 11:00 AM. He replaced the drain pump and cleaned up after himself in the span of about 20 minutes. Excellent service and I appreciated his rapid response.

Called in am when washer not working properly. Had not been draining for a few weeks- serviceman here within 4 hours! Pleasantly surprised with same day service. Repaired filter of the washer. Washer in working order. Only thing that would make better is if they did laundry for me too!

Bill was great! He "was in the area" but to me since I wasn't in his schedule I feel he went out of his way to come to our house (same day) to fix our washer! He was able to complete the job durning my lunch break. He's friendly and professional; I would definitely recommend WRM to my friends and family!

They were AMAZING. I was frustrated after waiting three weeks for my home warranty company's contractor to return after messing up the replacement of the washer's transmission. Two days after their initial repair, the washer broke again...identical problem. As laundry grew into an insurmountable mountain in our house, my husband and I decided to hire our own repair person. Enter Steps Appliance Repair. They were warm and responsive, and scheduled us for a same day appointment. They were right on time, and fixed the washer for the cost of the initial call fee. The gentleman was knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased with the service. Technician showed up on time. Shaun quickly diagnosed the problem with my Whirlpool washer and replaced the drain pump.

They showed up during the 3 hour window as promissed. The technician called before arrival. The repair was completed in a timely manner. I didn't grade them on price because I had no basis for comparrison although the price seemed reasonable. I would use this company again.

Adam found the problem with both the washer and dryer, explained the needed repairs, and quickly made the repairs. He was on time and cleaned up afterwards. We were very happy with the service he provided.

I was on a conference call for the entire visit, but I had let them know that would be the case before hand. The repairman arrived, I showed him to the washer, and he fixed it without any spoken words or loud noises to interrupt the call. (We exchanged a few notes and gestures. He seemed like a nice guy.)
