My whirlpool refrigerator was not working properly and I call dmv and Sam fix my refrigerator with in an hour. I highly recommend dmv to everyone. They are very professional.

Pius called me within an hour of quote request. He diagnosed the situation over the phone based on his knowledge of the brand and then provided an honest assessment without charging a fee. Due to age and extend of the problem he did not recommend repairing the washer. If I ever need repairs in the future he will be the first one I call.

Called in am when washer not working properly. Had not been draining for a few weeks- serviceman here within 4 hours! Pleasantly surprised with same day service. Repaired filter of the washer. Washer in working order. Only thing that would make better is if they did laundry for me too!

This was our first experience with Silver Spring Appliance Service, and we were very impressed by their integrity and professionalism. Blake identified the immediate problem, carefully explained the uncertainty about whether an additional electronic component might need replacement, and helped us understand the trade-offs of going forward with the repair or buying a new appliance. We elected to forgo the repair, at least for now, and paid only the charge for the visit. We would not hesitate to call them again for this or other Whirlpool appliance repair. Highly recommended.

Came out and repaired a Whirlpool Duet dryer. Answered the service request with a same day appointment and was less then half the price Best Buy quoted. Excellent service. Gene went above and beyond to fix the dryer and completed repair that same day. Would highly recommend A-1.

Plus the owner arrived on time, evaluated the broken dryer, told me how much it would cost to fix the dryer and proceeded to fix it. He explained how the problem was caused and provided a 1 year warranty.

I called on a Monday. They came out the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window. They actually arrived an hour early but called first. Repairman had the heater element replaced in less than one hour. Charged about $260 which I thought was reasonable.

Bill was great! He "was in the area" but to me since I wasn't in his schedule I feel he went out of his way to come to our house (same day) to fix our washer! He was able to complete the job durning my lunch break. He's friendly and professional; I would definitely recommend WRM to my friends and family!

With the help of Mark and the Repair99 Techs and photos of the broken dryer parts, the correct replacement parts were ordered for the repair. Then Tech Marcus did his magic and within 30 minutes had the dryer back up and running like new again! Will use Repair99 again for sure!

They were AMAZING. I was frustrated after waiting three weeks for my home warranty company's contractor to return after messing up the replacement of the washer's transmission. Two days after their initial repair, the washer broke again...identical problem. As laundry grew into an insurmountable mountain in our house, my husband and I decided to hire our own repair person. Enter Steps Appliance Repair. They were warm and responsive, and scheduled us for a same day appointment. They were right on time, and fixed the washer for the cost of the initial call fee. The gentleman was knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. I would recommend them to anyone.

We requested a repair estimate from this company through the Whirlpool Company for our Whirlpool Electric Clothes Dryer. Whirlpool made the appointment for us and informed us that their database indicated that Betty's did not charge a fee for estimates, but when they came to do our estimate, they handed us a bill. Seems they didn't bother to update the Whirlpool database when their policy changed and were surprised that Whirlpool was reporting what they called "false information". In truth, Whirlpool was only reporting the information Betty's provided them. When I called Betty's to tell them I would not be paying, they said they would turn us over to a collection agency, so we paid the bill. We didn't want them putting a lean on our home. Only after contacting Betty's, the BBB and Whirlpool multiple times did we get our money back...but guess what? Betty's didn't give us a refund, Whirlpool did!!! Whirlpool values customer satisfaction, Betty's does not. They did respond to the BBB, but not favorably. After the estimator pulled the top of the dryer off to see the electronics, he determined an expensive piece needed to be replaced because it was not making contact all the time. He quoted over $300 for the repair. Once he left, the dryer worked fine and has been working fine ever since. I think something just worked loose and when he removed the cover, whatever wasn't making contact before, righted itself. Seems we didn't need that expensive part after all!

I called Service Master on a Thursday morning to see if I could get them to take a look at my electric dryer, which was taking an overly long time to completely dry a load of clothes. I was told that they could come out that afternoon. I had expected a wait of at least a week or more, so I was very pleasantly surprised at their availability. The technician arrived within the time frame I was told he would, diagnosed the problem, and gave me a quote, applying the Angie's List discount. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently I had a functioning dryer again. I am very happy with this company. I will absolutely keep them on my A list and would recommend them without hesitation. UPDATED 8/13/13: Having called this company a second time for a different problem (broken belt on dryer), I am less than totally satisfied with the outcome; see my review of 8/13/13. I thought the price quoted of $235 for 20 minutes of work was excessive.

Showed up before scheduled window time which in my book is always awesome (Tech did call to say he was on his way and was 10 minutes away). Dryer is about 7-8 years old and I was pleasantly surprised that he had the part needed on hand.

The serviceman was very helpful and quickly assessed the problem. He identified that he could not repair the problem -- a coolant leak -- as it was a warranty issue with Whirlpool. We had purchased a Big Deal for a refrigerator repair for $135. He counseled us to call Angie's List for a refund and merely charged us $49 for a repair visit and assessment. Angie's List quickly refunded the Big Deal, so all is well. Now, if Whirlpool could only make better products.

Very pleased with the service. Technician showed up on time. Shaun quickly diagnosed the problem with my Whirlpool washer and replaced the drain pump.

They showed up during the 3 hour window as promissed. The technician called before arrival. The repair was completed in a timely manner. I didn't grade them on price because I had no basis for comparrison although the price seemed reasonable. I would use this company again.

Amazing service! The technician was prompt, professional, and very thorough. They were able to schedule an appointment for the same day. I was prepared to purchase new appliances (or pay a significant repair cost), but his analysis of the situation revealed that my fridge simply had ice in the warm air return. This was due to a box being pressed against the return. I simply need to unplug my fridge for 24 hours - no parts or extra work needed. The gas range has a blown switch, most likely due to a significant amount of water being introduced via the knob... I will have to schedule an appointment with Whirlpool, as it is a special part and would be more expensive for his company to fix. I will definitely use this service again, and recommend to my neighbors!

Found DAR on Angie's list. DAR was able to schedule appointment for next day. The technician (Omar) was friendly, professional, and prompt. Our dryer wasn't heating up. Appointment was at 2pm but our technician called to check if he could stop in early. Dryer was fixed in less than an hour. He showed me the broken coil and had replacement part on the truck. Excellent service! Price seemed high since part is listed as approximately $50 online but $30 Angie's member discount was applicable.
