Unfortunately, we had a sauna that came with our home that we do not have any additional information on. The company found that a fuse was missing but without a manual could not tell us which fuse we need. I did have to call them several times just to get a response. However, I do appreciate not being charged, given no further work could be completed.

The original floor had two layers of tile, so demolition took longer. They were great about it. They also installed a dedicated outlet for the sauna we are installing where the monster soaking tub used to be. They had to remove the toilet to redo the sub-flooring and retile. Project took a little longer because of some changes I made (bedroom). Bathroom looks great. For a little extra they installed new faucets. The glass company will now have to come out to install the frame-less shower door but we are happy.

We have had five major remodeling projects done by Pentagon Builders Inc. and each one rates 5 stars on a 5 star system. The most recent was this spring when they completely renovated our guest bath and two bedrooms. The bath is absolutely stunning. Tile work is beautiful, lighting is wonderful, and the craftsmanship is top notch in every detail. We also used Pentagon Builders Inc. to redo our kitchen and powder room, with custom cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances. What a beautiful job. Subsequently we had them install hardwood floors on the main level of our home, including kitchen, eat-in, powder room, and foyer. Previously we had Pentagon Builders Inc. remodel the entire basement that included a bathroom with sauna, exercise room, second family room, wet bar, pantry, laundry room, shop and storage room. It transformed a bare-bones basement to a gem providing 35% more useable living space which is used every day. Outdoors we had Pentagon Builders replace and expand our deck with Trex and build a customized storage building complete with electricity and concrete slab. Along with the major projects we combined a number of smaller projects such as upgrading all electrical service, adding recessed lighting in each room, and adding enough overhead lighting in our garage to perform real maintenance work. On each project, Mr. Slugg was very helpful with ideas and in keeping the design within scope and within our budget. During the construction phase, he kept the projects on schedule and delivered them on time and within cost. Mr. Slugg’s crew and all subcontractors were not only skilled craftsmen, but very friendly and trustworthy. We still receive praise for the jobs they did. In all projects, we have been completely satisfied and have highly recommended his work to others. As far as we are concerned, we will only use Pentagon Builders Inc. for any and all projects that remain.

I was very skeptical that Diana Construction Inc (DCI) would be able to satisfy my taste. Surprise! They, being Pete, was able to provided outstanding guidance and a top notch product. Pete picked my mind regarding my tastes and in particular my color palate. He provided several color and texture samples that were right on. I quickly realized Pete was the real professional at this type of project, so I allowed him to guide my way. To say the least, an excellent decision on my part. The cost was based on a tub to shower conversion which can open up several cans of worms. Pete was able to convert a severely outdated bathroom into a luxurious sauna theme. I had the walls and the floors replaced and also updated the lighting with a new vanity. To say the least, my bathroom went from a C grade to an A plus. I previously had my kitchen counter tops converted over to granite and wanted a corresponding back splash. Once again, Pete came through with an excellent selection. I asked my neighbor her opinion on the renovation and her answer was to contract with DCI and Pete. I also passed along pictures of before and after and poof, more referrals for DCI and Pete. That speaks for itself!

We bought a 92-year old house seriously in need of repair. We had to redo everything starting from scratch: roof; electric wiring; plumbing; insulation; bathrooms; kitchen; windows; floors; turning the attic into livable space; you name it. We insisted on doing everything eco-friendly and energy efficient with a minimal waste. At the same time, we tried to preserve the original details as much as we could, with the idea of keeping the historical beauty of this Spanish Mission style house. In other words, it was like a new construction within a frame of a very old house. On top of it all, our architects made a lot of mistakes with the drawings, often incomplete, and with materials and then walked off the job before completion. We cannot say enough good about our contractor, Bella Handyman and Construction. Andrew ( the owner) was honest, reliable, responsive to our requests and to other issues that came up during the renovation. He regularly corrected the architects* mistakes, saving us tens of thousands of dollars. His crews were professional, polite, pleasant to work with and willing to listen and to make the requested adjustments without complaining. The results speak for themselves. We love the house.

Agustin. Without doubt one of the nicest, easiest people to work with. Always extremely friendly and his primary goal is to make sure that you're happy with their work. Given that there are always going to be things that need to be re-done/things that are just a little off etc. it was really nice to not ever worry about whether the he was going to be upset or make you feel as though you're being excessively picky. Price: The prices that we were quoted were what we paid. That's not to say that we didn't decided to add a little here or there, which of course you pay for. Also, that's not to say that we didn't discover that the plumbing in the bathrooms needed to be redone, which ended up costing more. HOWEVER, given that a contractor has the upper hand when your entire bathroom is ripped out and it's discovered that the pipes need to be redone, it was refreshing that we didn't feel as though they ever took advantage. Workers: Carlos is AMAZING!! He is the guy who led the crew that did all of the work. He is seriously one of the greatest, nicest guys ever. Fully trustworthy and extremely considerate. An added benefit was that my wife and I got to practice our bad version of spanish. Knowing enough to communicate was a lot of fun. I could imagine that if you don't know a word, it could be a little difficult. That said, Agustin is extremely responsive, so I don't think that it really would have been too much of an issue. The Process: From the little bit of experience we've had doing renovations, you can go one of two ways. You can pay the substantial premium to not have to worry about literally anything, which we did for the total gutting of our ground floor, kitchen, dining room etc. Needless to say, while that is really nice, it costs a multiple of what Augustin charges. Or, if you want to be more involved in picking out and ordering all of your sinks, baths, faucets, tiles, vanities, mirrors etc. in order to save some money and you can find a contractor like Agustin to put it all in for you, rip out all of your old stuff etc. Full disclosure: did not realize how much work is actually involved in coordinating deliveries, picking things out, returning things that have something wrong with them etc. But, we saved a ton of money doing it this way. Quality of work: We absolutely love where we ended up. However, we are extremely picky and detail oriented which meant that a fair amount of little things needed to be redone along the way. As we were living in the house during the renovations, we were able to see when things weren't going exactly as we wanted and were able to intervene early on. That's not to say that the work wasn't done correctly, but rather that the decision to put something in one place vs a few inches to the left or right was occasionally made by the workers and we wanted something else. As noted earlier, Agustin never once made us feel as though we were being overbearing though. All said, we're really happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

Recent Review: Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above.
