Plan It Solar performed our installation! Top professionals from planing to completion. Did not over sell or engineer our project; provided options for us to review and explained pros and cons and expected benefits. Project management, installation management, and project crews are top notch. Delivered on time with minimal delay due to unexpected construction of our home (not their issue). I even added solar heating to my solar electric power late in the process, and it was no problem at all. Solar City was outstanding to deal with, from the very first visit with the Salesman, to the final turn up and test. Solar City's pricing is very competative. I purchased a 4.3 Kw system consisting of 20 panels. Their Salesman answered each and every question that I had. I had obtained competitive pricing from two other Solar Companies. I liked the price and proposal from Solar City for a complete purchase price. Solar City does a great job communicating with the customer. Each and every step is communicated well in advance. The installation was done very promptly and professionally. I really liked the Solar City crew and their approach to my project. The only down side, and this is no reflection on Solar City, but the City of San Jose building department and PGand E take so long to come out and do their part that a project that Solar City could get done in mere days drags on for many weeks because of the slowness of the building department and PGand E. Solar City was really great! I would recommend them to anyone doing a solar project.

He did not answer our questions, he only tried to persuade us to lease the solar from them. We saw an ad from Solar Harmonics and met with Fred. From that point on our experience was awesome. It is wonderful experience working with Adam and Lorenam. We need to replace a couple of fascia boards on roof and install Solar Panels afterwards. American Array Solar has amazing teams. The entire process worked smoothly. Adam and Lorenam have taken care of every details on scheduling, design, permit and software monitoring. Technicians did great job on installation thus inspection passed immediately. The price is very competitive. We now have Solar Panel provide electricity to the house for clean air and life time saving on electricity bill. I installed solar on my roof with Akeena Solar in 2006. The inverter came with a 10-year warranty and after 9 years it failed. Although Akeena shut its doors, their former CEO Barry Cinnamon now heads up Cinnamon Solar and he was responsive and happy to help, despite technically being at a new company with no legal responsibility for Akeena's installs. Cinnamon Solar obtained a warranty replacement for the inverter and installed it free of charge for me. I really appreciate Barry's commitment to older customers and that they were willing to help me out like this. I will definitely be recommending Cinnamon Solar to my friends if any of them are in the market for a solar array.

The Job went like clockwork. Everything was done as planned, in the time frame expected, and for the price estimated. These guys are great. The work was neat and the job site cleaned up perfectly. When complete everything functioned as promised and as I had hoped.

Vista Solar installed my solar power system in January of 2009. Their proposal was thorough and they presented a number of options. I evaluated the proposals from several companies, before selecting Vista Solar for my system. Their proposal worked out to have the least cost per kW (the cost above is after the CSI rebate but before the 30% federal tax credit). Once I selected Vista Solar, they immediately drew of the plans and began to work with the city planning department to obtain the necessary permits for the job. The installation crew was very professional, showing up when scheduled, working a full day, and cleaning up at the end of each day. The disruption of my daily routine was very minimal. The system was completed on time, about five days after they began the job. They also provided all the paperwork required for the California Solar Initiative rebate and to support the Federal 30% tax credit. I am very satisfied with my solar power system from Vista Solar. I highly recommend Vista Solar, if you are considering a project of this type.

The staff you talk to are the ones doing the the actual work, not someone in a boiler room selling systems they will never see. - Friendly, prompt, fair prices and extremely knowledgable. - Locally owned, woman owned, with real employees not subs. They will be there for you after the install is done. - Head installer Zack came and looked at my complex situation in person, without needing any arm twisting to do it, and gave me a sketch immediately of what would work, where, how many panels, etc. No other company would even show up without a commitment. - Sheryl is a powerhouse of information and in-depth knowledge. She gave me information about manufacturers that was very crucial to me, for long term service and reliability, which is just as important to me as the initial price. - Earth Electric stuck with me through a difficult and changing scenario as my ADU construction went a bit sideways...city planners made things complicated...it all worked out in the end, and I still got a good deal on my beautiful LG panels. - Very importantly, for me, Earth Electric worked hand in hand with the contractor who (unexpectedly) had to give me a new roof at the last minute. (Kent Roofing, also highly recommended!) **If you need a new roof AND solar at the same time, this is the dream team combination that will make your life bearable, as you navigate that scenario.** In summary, my situation was complicated and kept changing (plus, hello, Covid making everything harder), and the array was not all that big.
