When we called and described the problem, Jim advised us to go out and buy a new fixture since he sensed immediately that we had a faulty light fixture. I bought one similar to the one already mounted. When he arrived, he offered either to replace the fixture with a less expensive bulb that he had in his truck or to mount the new fixture that I had bought. He also forewarned me that if he replaced the fixture with just a bulb--which was less expensive--I might have to paint the area where the former fixture was because of wear over time. I chose to have the fixture I bought installed. Jim completed the job in about an hour. He is a very affable guy and very professional. It was an easy job for the most part and probably something that I could have done.

Terrific. To fix the external light fixture, Alley Electric went the extra mile. Before new wiring could be used, they had to clean out a metal tube that was part of the fixture. This was not easy but Alley Electric was very creative and resourceful. We did not want to replace the fixture since it matched our other two external fixtures and we really like the way this fixture casts its light. Fixture was repaired and we are very happy. Internal fixture was giving us problems. Alley Electric quickly diagnosed it and installed a replacement which is working great. Quality people. Never rushed. Very friendly. Very professional. Highly recommended!

It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment. Technician was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Troubleshooting the fixture was quick, but our wiring was old and needed some adjustment for differences in the ground wiring in the new fixture. Technician was able to identify and negotiate this. Pricing is a bit high.

Even though it was a 4:30 pm appointment they arrived within a half hour of the appointment time. They checked out the types of replacement fixtures we needed, then went to buy the fixtures and were back within 45 minutes. The job was done and they left by shortly after 6 pm. They were pleasant and professional both on the phone and in person. We were pleased with the experience and will call them the next time we need electrical work done.

As usual, I am satisfied with Valley Heating. There was a third light fixture I wanted replaced but the new fixture would not fit where it was planned to go. As usual, Sal went the extra mile and showed me what work could be done to utilize my fixture (out in scope for this project).

He came to give an estimate, was exactly on time, and gave us the best possible advice. We were contemplating have new LED outside light fixtures installed. His advice: our current fixtures are working perfectly and emit a bigger pool of light than the new fixtures would. He also did a cost analysis and leaving well enough alone, even though it did him out of a job, was to our advantage. We appreciated his honesty and would definitely call him again as a result.

They found that the fixture was defective and they had to drive down to St. Carlos to get the new fixture. I feel I was a bit overcharged for the minimal time they were here. They did come out right away a make a 30 mile round trip to get the new fixture, but the price still felt high. The work was done very well.

Brookeline Electric had successfully replaced the basement electrics, including the circuit box, on a previous occasion, so when the kitchen ceiling fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen burned out, I called them. John A. Peters came out and replaced the fixture with a compact fluorescent fixture in one day, includinlg a trip to the hardware store. John is skilled and experienced, and a quick worker. I am completely satisfied with the repair.

Martin was on time and with the equipment needed to install our fixtures. He was neat ,cleaned up the work space, and even taught me how to replace the bulbs in the new fixture. Very personable would definitely use again and refer to friends and family.

Alina and Wesley phoned to say they would be at our place in about 45 minutes after completing another job. They arrived as stated. They removed and installed a 4 foot under cabinet fixture in our kitchen. On a previous visit they had determined that the fixture was not functional. The new fixture is great even better than the last one. The new fixture has one fluorescent tube whereas the old one had 2. There is now more continuous lighting with no dead spot. I was concerned thabtw bathroom fixture would have to be replaced because it kept burning out light bulbs. Wesley examed it and showed me that the reason the light bulb were burning out was because the fixtures fan function was shaking the light bulbs filament. Then after awhile the bulb would fail. He put in one of the new types of energy saving bulbs that has no filament. He also recommended that I might want to use a garage door opener light bulb as they are more able to withstand shaking. Josh came within 45 minutes of my contacting Dalcon. I had a dangerous situation that caused sparks and a small flame at one of my exterior fixtures. Seems some critters munched on the wires. Josh diagnosed the problem right away and was able to resolve the immediate danger, and provide a longterm solution estimate. I will be going forward with the additional repairs. Josh was pleasant, courteous and professional.

Contacted Dalcon Electric to get an estimate to install a new lighting fixture over my kitchen island. Julian came out and explained what the job would entail, the cost of the job and gave me some background information about Dalcon Electric. The job included removing the canned lighting, installing the appropriate electrical fixture for the new light, repairing some ceiling drywall then installing the new fixture. The cost of the job was good and included the repair of the drywall so I didn't have to find another contractor to do that portion of the job. Julian installed the fixture and did a great job. He was very careful about my home, wearing booties when he was inside, and making sure that everything was cleaned up when the job was finished. Will definitely use them for my next electrical job and will recommend them to my friends.

I contacted Cross 6/1 regarding changing my current lights with plug in LED Shop Lights purchased from Costco. They set up an appointment to view the job, arrived at the agreed time, and sent an estimate as promised. No hassles. When I changed one aspect of the estimate bid they immediately sent out an undated one. They were extremely prompt, friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. They are straightforward and honest to boot! They cleaned up their work nicely and finished the entire job in about 3 hours.

We brought in our kitchen floor plan and described our needs for the different kinds of lights we needed (for the ceiling, above the counter, above the kitchen nook, and accent spots). The rules for kitchen fluorescent lighting had just changed and they already understood them, unlike other lighting stores we visited. All the wattages of the fluorescent and incandescent lights had to add up to meet the rules, and the various styles of fixtures had to be visually compatible. They spent time with us and were very patient as we visited several times, looked at floor models, made changes in our plan, and finally ordered fixtures. They were always knowledgeable about the fixtures and bulbs, and were able to answer our questions about glare, bulbs, fixture quality, etc. The excellent staff has been there for many years.

I had Ariel come over and give me a quote on re-doing my bathroom. He started one week later and finished 2 days early. We had a number of contractors come out to our home to give us an estimate for what we thought was a pretty straightforward job. I'll spare you the details of how difficult it was to find someone who could show up and then provide a quote, but suffice it to say, Everlast Construction was worth the patience. My design was probably more complicated than most, but he was really great about making sure the design was laid out exactly as I envisioned it. I had a custom design den and it looks better then the nicest hotels. His work was absolutely meticulous. We like his work so much he is now doing our fireplace and kitchen floor as well.
