Excellent company to work with. JP Companies removed and installed a new concrete porch and carport pad. The crew arrived on time, complete the work quickly and left the job site clean. We had a few challenges due to an adjacent cement pad and a awkward front entrance. Paulo made some recommendations with confidence only experience can bring to resolve/minimize the issues. Can’t ask for more. Good value, professional and they obviously take pride in their work.

I"m glad I was able to select "F" because F.N.G. Renovation and Remodeling lacks integrity on multiple levels. This particular owner, Fritz, began our business relationship on a positive note but after receiving a second payment, he has gone completely ghost and has not finished the handicapped ramp and deck that was promised to my family since August 2019. After his refusal to give me actual dates that the deck would be installed and discussion about parts and costs went on for two months, I had no other recourse by to contact the police and submit a fraudulent charge to my credit card. Much to my dismay, his vague responses through both email and text messages caused the credit card company to feel as though their hands are tied and reverse the charges. My first payment to him was via check, much harder to dispute, however, my next step is going through the court system where he will refund every penny of the money that was stolen from me from both the check payment and credit card payment. Beyond disappointed in a man that stated he was a Marine with integrity, yet he did not fulfill his end of the deal for a household with a sickly senior citizen and a partially disabled person. Makes me wonder how many other people he has done this to as well?

Thomas and James were taking care of this job. Their crew was the two of them, and two other men. The work started on Monday when they removed the old driveway and started to widen the area. All work was done by hand. It was amazing to watch! Due to weather they had to stop a bit early that day but were back the next morning to frame everything up. Day two was more removal of old material and dirt to level the area. They framed the area to be paved and spread the fine gravel. The cement truck arrived and cement was mixed on site so there were less time restrictions. All the cement had to be poured into wheel barrows and then dumped into the driveway. The cement truck was so large they were concerned it would break the existing sidewalk. The compression joints that were planned to go in had to be revised. The gravitational pull on the wet cement caused the joints to be less than perfectly straight so they elected to put in caulk after the cement set. The cement was edged beautifully and brush finished. Additionally, a small brick retaining wall that we had put it was rebuilt better than we had installed it. The wall was also extended to prevent the yard from washing onto the new driveway. An unexpected, but much appreciated add on! When the driveway was being put in we noticed that there would be a slight height difference between the drive and the walkway. I am visually impaired and this would have posed a tripping hazard for me, and our children. So the crew saw cut our walk way and redid the last section of the walkway at a slight slope to prevent the height difference. We are now in negotiations of what to do about our patio in the back yard which is in much need of repair. The crew was always polite, and cleaned up at the end of day. They did not mind our children or even the neighborhood children coming to see the ?big trucks? and tools. A great group to work with!

Jeff Mottern, the owner, give us an estimate after examining the site and giving us several suggestions regarding how the job could be done in a quality manner. We adopted all of his suggestions. For example, we wanted to enlarge an existing front cement entrance step by making it three feet wider and one foot longer. We thought the new cement would simply be added to the existing step but Jeff noted that it could separate in the future and he suggested we remove all of the old cement and pour a new, one piece cement step topped by flagstone with natural stone on the face of the risers. After we agreed to a price and a date, Jeff's two man crew (led by Salvador) arrived on time and worked very hard and carefully over several days to complete the job. They clearly took pride in their work and are excellent at their trade. The finished right on time and we are very pleased with the final product. Several of our neighbors and even other craftsmen who have come by to do other work on the house have remarked on how great the walkway and porch look. Even the back patio, a simple cement slab poured on a sloping piece of land came out exactly the way we wanted it. Mottern Masonry is not necessarily the least expensive among its competitors, but the quality is superb.

Byron was wonderful. He showed up on time and worked tirelessly to chip away the stone tile and backer board. I didn't want them to use power tools because I was worried that it would damage the ceiling of the condo below mine so he used a chisel and hammer to remove the whole thing! The area afterwards was clean and perfect! I have been waiting 5 years to do this project and I chose House Doctors because a friend recommended them and their price was very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again for any project and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Bright Construction Group did a fabulous job. They cemented our driveway plus our sidewalk to the house. The project took 3 days. The men came in a timely manner each day. The first day they dug up the current paved driveway. They also dug up the current sidewalk to the house. The 2nd day, the cement truck came an cemented the driveway & the sidewalk to the house. The 3rd day they came & did a little masonry work in the back of the driveway to connect the driveway to the sidewalk in the backyard. Luis and Stephen were very professional and considerate. Their willingness to address our concerns was exceptional, even made 2 extra trips to talk with us.

Our existing cement slab was cracked and sunken in from a water main break a few years ago. Paulo did a fantastic job with replacing our the slab and installing a new sidewalk leading to it. Their work was professional and expert and the price was reasonable. The complete the work on the date promised and we didn't even need to be there, which was extremely convenient.
