Simple MovesI called to schedule my move. The process was simple and the person I spoke with was very pleasant. I appreciated the periodic communications to remind me of the upcoming move. Two gentleman were sent to move all my items from a very full 15x15 storage unit to a house I purchased. They called me to let me know when to expect them at the storage facility, and they were there within the timeframe I had been told. It was a very hot day, and they remained polite and friendly throughout the entire process. While I do not anticipate doing another big move any time soon, I would use them again for small jobs.- Christine B.

Simple MovesWe moved our daughter into a new apartment near Washington University, where she will be attending graduate school. The two guys (they told me their names, but I have a terrible time remembering names) from Simple Moves called to say that they finished with their prior move early and asked if they could come early, which wasn't a problem. They were extremely efficient and courteous. They moved quickly without pause. Our daughter's new apartment is up on a hill, and there are many steps to get to her building. Several of the items we moved are quite heavy, including a large marble table top. The guys quickly moved the items into her apartment, and the ultimate cost was less than the estimate. This was the second time we used Simple Moves (the prior one was to move several heavy items within our own house to different floors) and we have been very pleased with both.- Brian H.

Recent Review:
I was very disappointed. None of the above questions revealed my disappointment. I think there was a misunderstanding probably on my part. I was under the impression that they were going to pack some of my things. As it turned out they packed nothing and did not even have any boxes. I had to be out of my apartment by 5 o’clock so I ended up having to leave a few things to meet the deadline. They told me my mounted TV could be taken down by them but they were not able to mount it. I agreed with that but they did not take down the TV it was still on the wall when I went into that room. Hopefully I learn something from this move.

They moved me in December 2020. Could not get my long sofa on the elevator. I was upset but the owner, Dave, told me that he could give me 2 almost new love seats (he texted photos)so I let him give my sofa to a lady who he said had nothing. They also forgot to take my TV tray tables off truck and I told him he could deliver with the loveseats. When it came time to bring me the furniture, he told me that they were being used for staging and would be available in a couple of months. I contacted him a couple of months later and he said they were still being used. I checked back periodically and was given basically the same line. In May, I called him and he told me he would call me back. I left multiple texts and voice-mail with no reply. I refrained from trying to reach him the last couple of weeks in May. I called him on June 1st. He answered his phone, heard my voice and hung up. I left messages with no response. All I want, at this point, is my TV tray tables. I have been nothing but respectful and nice to this man. If he couldn't get me the sofas, fine. All he had to do is tell me. Instead he hides and acts like a *******. I am amazed he even got 2 stars because he is a disreputable business owner. If I could give zero stars, I would. If he can't face a problem in his business with integrity, he doesn't need to have a business.

Junior, both Anthony's and Ty were amazing in how diligent they were to insure we had exceptional service! These guys were extremely meticulous on how they packed and handled our items. Moving into a new construction home we were hoping to get movers who would not damage walls etc. These guys set my fears to ease immediately. They took great care in setting walking mats down on my floors. They never hit any walls. My husband and I were truly impressed with their work ethic! We would and gave highly recommended them to others. We enjoyed visiting with them also. If you use these guys you won't be disappointed!!

To begin with, we did not know these movers and found them on Angie's list. They were excellent. They were very professional, careful with all the items, and punctual. Everything was transported to the various places correctly and everything arrived in excellent condition with no mishaps. Many of the items were either difficult to move because of size and weight or quite fragile and valuable. My clients and I were very pleased and would definitely recommend them. This was NOT an easy move and they handled it with ease. The event went more smoothly than we expected. I would use them again.
