Mr Daniel Wolkoff was great. I think he knows everything about stained glass! I needed my glass cleaned and he did a perfect job. The piece had 2 small broken pieces which I thought I would have to live with - he suggested that he could replace the pieces and it would look like new. We agreed on a price and now my stained glass is in perfect condition! Very professional service and I learned a lot about stained glass and my piece in the process. A good experience. We are lucky to have Daniel in Washington.

Jason did a great job and went to great lengths to get the stain right for 12 replacement windows in a hundred-year old home. Visited our home multiple times to make sure color scheme was right, worked with the installer to stain the windows at the warehouse, and checked in on results post installation. Jason and team came recommended by our well-regarded local window provider.

.If you buy into the concept of a 1950s knotty pine room, when the windows need to be replaced, they must be replaced with windows that will hold the integrity of the room. The Andersen windows are beautiful, as I fully expected but the incredible part of the service was that Joe, who stain the windows, was perfect! They call him The Artist. And he certainly is. He methodically choose a stain color and then stained 11 windows to perfectly match the existing 50 year old knotty pine walls. Seamlessly beautiful and I am so happy with them. Thanks to Andersen and thanks to Joe.

I would highly recommend Pro Edge Painting for any painting work. I was very pleased with the interior painting, deck staining, and window sill repair they did at my home. JR, the owner, was very prompt in scheduling an appointment for the estimate and submitted the proposal soon after his visit to my home. He quickly returned my phone calls and responded to my emails whenever I had questions. I was very pleased with the paint crew and the quality of work they did. They took pride in their work and were open to discussing with me my questions and concerns. They were so quiet that I hardly knew they were here working. The clean-up was thorough and the large pieces of furniture were returned to their original places. Everything they did was a great improvement to my home.

I was very pleased with Certified Home Remodelers at every phase. I live out of town but my elderly mother still lives in the area. I make arrangements for any home improvements or repairs when I am in town visiting. Certified was very accommodating when I told them that I was only in town for a few days. Harvey came on one or two days notice to do an estimate for me. Dave came to measure the windows a day or two later, I was called at my home to schedule the date for installation when Certified received the windows. Dave and a helper came to the house to install the windows. They did a beautiful job. They were very polite and professional and had the windows installed in half a day. I would definitely use them again.

It went great. The job was extensive and prolonged but well worth the wait. They did an excellent job! They are nice as can be, very personable and professional.

It went very good except for one problem. The windows went in fine and all of that, but they have semi-gloss paint that can't be stained over. They stained over it for some reason and it shouldn't have been painted. They were going to come and fix it, but they haven't yet. Besides that, the prices were good and they did a good job with the installation.

Alan and his crew were great. Very punctual, professional and the work was beyond compare. The price was very reasonable. Alan, the owner, offered unsolicited advice on how to get rid of stains on our front porch.

John Patton went out of his way to find vintage glass that matched the sidelights on either side of our front door. He specializes in making such repairs to stained and leaded windows.

Skye construction was very nice and followed up routinely after providing a cost quote. However, I was disappointed as they really didn't offer any suggested design ideas and they quoted $7,000 for a patio...then $1500 for deck staining and power washing. With those prices I shopped elsewhere and have a beautiful patio and design suggestions were provided for $4200 and washing and staining of my upper deck for $765. Nice gentleman...but really over priced!

We noticed staining in the ceiling area between the dining room and the kitchen on the 2nd floor of our 4-story townhouse. Exterior Medics sent an employee to assess the situation and it appeared the problem was a roof area adjacent to the leak on a bump-out originally intended for a fireplace. The roofing was replaced in this small area and the flashing and seams around the siding repaired. A few days later the ceiling repair crew arrived only to find the ceiling soaking wet (it had been raining for a few days). The ceiling was opened up and water was dripping from above the repaired roof area. The Exterior Medics sales guy returned and looked at the roof area on top of the 3rd floor which was easily viewed from the 4th floor dormer. There appeared to be defects in this roof so they returned and removed the old roof area and added a membrane, flashing, new shingles and adjusted the gutters. We waited for rain, and unfortunately the ceiling still dripped water. The owner returned with two of his installers and the sales guy and took a look at the situation again and found caulking defects around the 3-panel window on the 4th floor. The window was caulked around all sides and we waited for rain. This time the drip stopped. The interior repair crew returned and repaired the ceiling area. This was a tough problem to solve and fairly expensive. The first repair was $1,640 which included fixing the interior ceiling, the second repair $2,390. There was no additional charge for the caulking around the window. I understand the difficulty in detecting and repairing water leaks. Exterior Medics was professional, courteous, and cleaned up behind their work. They stayed with the problem until it was solved. My only complaint, and this is minor, is they were tied up in traffic one morning and arrived about 1.5 hours behind schedule. A quick phone call when they started to run late would have been appreciated. This is an excellent roofing/siding/window repair company.

We are very pleased with the work overall. Carlos Mosquera's estimate was one of the best we received. The owner was very quick in getting back to me regarding questions and additional estimates prior to contract agreement. It took his team about a week to finish all the work, which was very understandable given the project size and the bouts of bad weather we had. I really appreciated how promptly (and with a smile in the 100 degree heat!) they were able to respond & rectify small issues (like paint drips) at the end. We are very pleased with the end result and would gladly use them again.

They were great and we were extremely satisfied. I like the quality of their product and the professionalism of the people who did the work (I believe they were actually Andersen employees and they were not contracted out). We had some challenges in our house and they came through beautifully. They had to match the stain in our house because there were several windows that were dark wood; we can't even tell the difference between the stain of the existing wood and what they did. It was pretty amazing! I think it's a good value. One of our windows was cracked and the guy who installed it took a picture. They came promptly to replace what they needed to replace. I would recommend them. If I moved to another home and I had to replace the windows, I would definitely use Renewal by Andersen.

Hodges (using them for a second time) did a great job providing us 14 wood-interior windows for our hundred-year-old home. Tom L. and team worked with us to provide multiple quotes with different window providers and accommodated our schedule and request to have windows stained by outside provider at the Hodges facility pre-install. On-site installers were hard-working and accommodating. Job accomplished in 1.5 days.

The basic installation was great. All the work looked good. Fast, professional. Nice guys. After the work was done on the front screen door, the inspector came and found they had installed the wrong kind of door. Next appointment the team found out (as I understand it) the new frame also had to be replaced, so another appointment was set. They express ordered the materials and were able to get the work done according to our scheduling needs. So, the good news was that they inspect the work and keep it up until they get it right, it just took a while. Only complaint is they installed a natural-colored strip of wood at the intersection of the black door and our dark wood-stained floor. I had to stain it. Seemed to us an easy thing they could have taken care of.

Salesman met our request for evening visit for estimate, 8/12/09. He was pulled away to speak with another customer during initial discussion, so substituted upgrade to clear-view screens on all street side windows by way of apology. Prices were as advertised, very competitive, no bait-and-switch, no surprises. Good advice, changing from triples of individual windows to combined unit, much better air seal and appearance. Project/job manager visited to go over installation plans, extremely professional. Reminded to save all stickers for tax records on energy star windows. Installation was carried out quickly and efficiently (two days), minimal intrusion, great cleanup. Busy season, so six weeks from start to finish: order, manufacturing, to installation. Competitive price, looks great, much more comfortable and no leaks/problems after a year installed with a lot of extreme weather -- wind and driving rain.

We were in a hurry to get our sidings paint to pass HOA inspection, Bert was able to shift his current schedule to meet my deadline, which we really appreciated. On the day of estimate, he checked everything very carefully and patiently explained what he needs to do, including replacing and fixing a few rotten pieces around the window case. This is very helpful and showed how he cared about what he does. He and his staff happened to work on our house during the hottest days a few weeks ago, and they still showed their professionalism. Our siding looks great now, and I can't believe after washing and staining our deck, it can make such a big difference! Compared to our neighbor's deck, ours is like new! Overall, Bert and his staff did a very good job for our townhouse. Will recommend to others!

Luis and his crew did an amazing job on my windows and I am happy to recommend them. My windows sparkle as never before. For particularly stained windows in a back porch (due to stationary screens), Luis used a special cleaner. He and his crew even remove their shoes when working inside your home. Luis and his crew are most professional, friendly, and know their trade well.

We collaborated together and the final product is outstanding. They helped me design the room and put in a beautiful stained wood ceiling and porcelain tile floor. They handled the insulation, electrical work, and drywall. They put in double hung windows along one wall, too.They reconfigured the trusses as well. It was innovative and beautifully done. They even came out with some paint schemes.
