Brain and his crew carefully prepared the area of my lawn to be hydroseeded and did a final prep with a tractor that left no marks, raking the lawn very carefully and preparing all edges of the area to be hydroseeded. The mixture of seeds was carefully sprayed, covering all areas and even overlapping the rest of my lawn nicely. Brian custom mixed the seed before he sprayed it and after he assessed how much sun and shade would be available to make sure that I would get good growth. After he was done hydroseeding, he explained to me how important it was to keep the seeded area moist in order to obtain good sprouting and growth. I found Brian to be a good communicator who came when he said he would and his estimate was very fair. He has many years experience and was one of the pioneers in hydroseeding. The quality of his work was exceptional and I already have good spouting of the grass seed and some good growth. Brian and his crew are total professionals and they were fast, accurate and their work was meticulous. I was 100% satisfied with the work Brain Kerber and his crew did and give them my highest recommendation.

Great experience, great team! I wasted a lot of time contacting other landscape companies which had a hydroseeding reference on Angie's list but either had never performed this service or had discontinued it. Since we were arranging to seed in November, I was beginning to expect we wouldn't find any one to do the job. So I was quite surprised when TC Hydroseeding was not only still in the business, but very responsive and willing to get the job done before inclement weather the following week. They are a small business run by young guys with a lot of integrity. They we able to answer all of my questions about hydroseeding in the fall. Normally fall seeding has a very low germination rate (40%) due to seeds being redistributed by wind, water and birds. But hydroseeding pastes seed into place with a fertilized fibrous mulch mixture resulting in more than 80% germination. They were also able to put down multiple varieties of grass on the same service call, which was exactly what we needed. Their minimum charge was $600 for 2,500 square feet. Though we had less than this area to do, we decided to commit. Our landscape project which was just completed left us with amended soil on the boulevard and a putting green size lawn in the front yard. We also had built up soil to create a slope on the west of our property, which we did not want to see eroded by spring. We also had installed a retaining wall to the east and in the process tore up the empty lot there. Hard scape features would make maintaining grasses to the east and west a pain, so we had them put down a No-Mow mixture. They showed on time, were incredibly friendly, careful not to spray outside the areas requested and didn't disturb anything with their significantly large and long rubber hoses (they even have a canon mounted atop the truck for fields). The only draw back was that for the first few weeks the color was almost turquoise. The neighbors were very curious about this color, so we were happy when it faded to a more natural pine green. It's still winter and a very warm and wet one at that, but we've seen minimal erosion so far. I'll update this review in the spring after we have growth to report on final success.

We kept getting rain, so I had to reschedule a few times, and they were very accommodating and punctual. Showed up when the committed, and got the job done quickly. Price was fair, and cheaper than me buying the seed and grass mats to cover it. I had never done hydroseeding, so I learned a little bit. It was thin in places, so I would have had it sprayed thicker, as it really grew well where it was a little thicker. However, 4 weeks later it is 100% green, although a little thin in places. The results are better than anticipated

Had separate company excavate area and fill in with 14 yards of black dirt. Hydroseeding done to excavated/rebuilt area and other areas were pine trees/stumps had been removed and covered also with black dirt. Given detailed instructions on watering and left useful brochure describing watering necessary, fertilizing and mowing newly seeded areas. Several comments from our neighbors on how great our lawn looks especially the re-landscaped/seeded area. Neighbors did not like the 18 pine trees (now removed).

They were good. I thought that the pricing was excellent. They came out and it looked like a good job. I asked them some questions about the grass not coming in fast enough. They were not as responsive as they should have. I did not find the follow-up was good. The grass came up after that. The job turned out good in the end. I would use them again.

Amazing experience. We were in urgent need to get sod down before a graduation party and they delivered. We contacted on Monday and by Wednesday they were putting down sod before the party on Saturday. Great service and quality work. Will definitely call again.

I called them to enquire about overseeding and the gentleman on the other side was very thorough and professional. He took all time and patience to explain me how and when I should work my lawn to make it look nicer. I will surely give them business when I go ahead and do the work.

Went very well. Dug in, established stronger foundation, covered, and laid seed down. Spot is very strong now.

King Scapes moved quickly and expertly and had our lawn looking brand new in no time. We had some of our seed wash away due to a flash flood days after the initial seeding. Don and crew were back out with seed the next week to replace what had washed away. Talk about service! We never thought our lawn could look so good and now have neighbors that come up and compliment and THANK us for having such a nice yard within our neighborhood.

Poor results. Couldn't grow gas. Hired someone else and found that the soil was lacking phosphorus. They applied fertilizer and worked great.
