CAHIIM will soon approve standards for Digital Health Professional and Digital Health Leader certificates at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The Digital Health Professional and Digital Health Leader certificates help prepare students to work in healthcare IT leadership roles throughout the rapidly-changing environment of digital health.
CAHIIM attends conferences concerning their accreditation processes and their Standards for Accreditation.

Applications
CAHIIM is not yet accepting applications for approval of Digital Health Professional or Digital Health Leader programs.
Standards and Competencies must go through at least two (2) rounds of public comment before going before the CAHIIM Board for final approval. Once approved, CAHIIM will publish an application process and begin to accept applications.
