He came out Monday, was very friendly and provided the estimate which was very professional and is providing an Angie's List discount.

I called this company 3 times to get them to come out and do an estimate for over 220 linear feet of fence. The receptionist was very pleasant took my info each time and said the area consultant would give me a call within 72 hours. To date I have not heard from Hal Co Fence. [UPDATE 6/26/2020 by Angie's List] - After my review, I was contacted by Chuck, one of the representatives. He explained that they were busy keeping up with demands due to closure as a result of COVID. I was able to get Chuck to come out the same day to do the estimate and I received my estimate the next day. Even though they weren't the cheapest estimate I received, I believe that they can and will deliver a quality fence. It was easy communicating with Chuck, he responded to my questions and changes via email in reasonably time. I am looking forward to the installation of my fence. I hope this process will go smoothly, and that the final product will be a true representation of high quality.

H&C Construction was a joy to work with. They come on the day they said they would. They went right to work. At the end of each work day they cleaned up behind themselves. They were very nice and answered all of my questions. They did an amazing job, I am very satisfied with the work. I would not hesitate in referring them to my family and friends. I will use them again as well. Thank you Luis for a job well done.

Great! We wanted to replace an aging deck and fence with something new, and to fence in a garden to keep our dog out of it. We received three quotes, and Northern Virginia Deck and Fence was both competitively priced and the most professional in handling the initial appointments. Oscar, their sales representative, arrived on time and carrying samples for different colors of Trex, which we had indicated we wanted. He spent about an hour measuring the yard. Permitting took some time due to the county's slowdown during the coronavirus crisis. But once the company was cleared to work, they did so. Their manager wore a mask any time we talked through next steps. The final product is sturdy, and the deck is beautiful.

Excellent excellent job. I rarely post reviews, but Jeff and his team were really great. A small problem was noted with a gate post several months after install, but Jeff promptly took a look and fixed it without any hesitation. I wish all the people I contract with were as good - or even just close to as good as Phoenix Fence.

I had to get the job approved by my town, which took a little longer. The whole process took about a month, but maily because I had to wait fo the approval. They did a great job overall. I was pleased with their work.

DJ Fence did a wonderful job with building a wood fence in our back yard. Lorenzo responded quickly to our original inquiry, and scheduled a visit within a day or two. He measured and helped us figure out the best fence for our back yard and our needs (keeping in dogs without keeping out the view). He made several suggestions we had not considered and they definitely improved the fence. He helped us with materials to give our HOA, and stayed in touch with us while we got the project approved. When it was approved, he gave us a projected project date. When an earlier date opened up, he let us know but it was during a time we were out of town, so he rescheduled to the next week. The crew arrived when promised, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after. They built a beautiful 5" wooden picket fence with 3 gates exactly as we asked. Lorenzo walked us through the finished product afterwards. We love it and have had many compliments on it. Highly recommend.

After the estimate, I had a few follow up questions that I submitted by email. The company responded quickly. They had good suggestions for improving the function of the fence gates. They sent me pictures of gate options and later called for clarification of some aspects of the project. They were a little behind schedule on the day of the project but they called to let me know the anticipated arrival time. They finished the job in one day, staff were respectful, professional and they cleaned up when the job was finished. The fence and gates look really good. I'm glad I found this company. We are very pleased with the job.

The crew of 3 men arrived on time. They worked almost non-stop for the entire time they were at our property, finishing the job in less time than we had anticipated. Crew were professional, neat, and completed work looks good and has no material flaws. The crew removed all old materials (including old fence) and left the affected areas neat and clean.

Cesar and his crew did a great job. He explained our options, and the final product is exactly what we wanted.

Overall great fence for the price. I guess not everything that I discussed with the guy who gave me the quote ended up in the contract, so I didn't get exactly what I wanted, but it was good enough for the price. The people who came to do the fence didn't know exactly what was in the contract either, so I'm happy I was at home. Was picking cigarette butts up all over the yard for a few days after which wasn't very nice. Overall still happy with the fence because no one else could beat the price. I just wish that the company would send someone to 'oversee' while the fence is being built, preferably the person who talked about the design/ quote in the first place.

Jarrod and his install team did a great job installing our fence in our backyard. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. I will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors!

They came promptly for the estimate as well as install day. They were fast and polite. They did a beautiful job, including some really nice quality wood. The site manager advised me when to stain the wood and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

The project went very well. Nino came out to do the estimate and was on time and provided good communication. The guys who performed the work did an excellent job. Also, it was competitively priced and was the best estimate of the three that I got. I highly recommend.

After installation, the wood used split and twisted. The joints came apart and it took much effort to get them to come out and repair the work that was still under warranty. The bad wood was never replaced.

Wilbert and his crew worked diligently, accurate, and knew exactly what they were doing. They offered helpful suggestions and were very easy to work with. Great experience start to finish.  Timely and cost effective.  Would/Will use them again.

The work looks terrific. All of the rot is removed. I am on the fence on the use of manmade material so will see how it wears and how the rest of the wood that was not replaced continues to blend with it. The join between the wood and the repair is not 100% smooth so visible, but not sure it is to anyone else. Overall this was much needed repair and happy to have paid the price to finally get it completed.

Zach Roye was pleasant and professional. He both the garage door frame and kitchen door frame required he disassemble the garage door structure to get at the wood, and remove my kitchen and screen doors to cut out the damaged wood. He approached the problems cheerfully and worked to get everything on my list accomplished in the allotted time. I will request Zach for my carpentry work in the future. Great job!!

Manny was great and was a reliable contractor working on a large fence restoration. He was timely to arrive each morning and painted my fence quickly and better than my neighbors and at a lower price. He paid attention to detail and was an honest contractor. When he had problems, he communicated it to me quickly and gave me ample time to try and find a resolution. Would use again.
