    Richard was recommended to us through a local site. When I talked to Richard on the phone, he asked us to meet him, look at the granite available, and to discuss the install. My wife and I have built a half dozen homes in the past and always use granite. We've had a number of companies install the granite, but never have we had someone who did the work Richard did in our kitchen. Absolutely amazing. The seam was seamless,the tightest I've ever seen. I cannot describe adequately the quality of work. Richard worked within our price range. He came when he said he would be here, the granite was cut perfectly, the amount of time to install was exactly what he told us, and the professionalism continues to be incredible. Not only would I use Richard again, I recommend him to everyone. My wife and I love the granite, and even my brother-in-law (who is a perfectionist) could not believe the work. He plans to use Richard on his kitchen remodel. I value and appreciate someone who is a craftsman at what they do, and Richard is a craftsman. He knows granite. They did a FANTASTIC job on a house we purchased that needed various remodeling/renovations (floors, kitchen, bathrooms). They completed the job on schedule, so we were able to move in, as planned.     Great Classic granite & Marble knock it out of the park on the Install of the new counter tops . I have to say working with their team was great they walk us through ever step of the way and explain everything long the way . The project manager (Heather ) was great she stayed in touch before and after the job and handle everything .The Templater ( Johnny) when he came out to do the template of the counter top. Johnny was very professional and answered all my questions and walk me through step by step of what and how he was doing the template . The install team ( Reberto) came out to install the top and went up and beyond the call on the install .Reberto did a great job on the install . The plumber came out same day and hook up our new sink and faucet and was very professional and explain how everything work after and during the install . With all this going on Heather was in the for front making sure we were happy and the project was running smoothly.     We highly recommend Kitchen Emporium if you need a kitchen remodeled or updated! Rob provided us with an excellent design for our kitchen upgrade. We needed additional storage cabinets, tile backsplash, new lighting, trim work, new hardware, new faucet, and painting. The custom cabinet he installed is beautiful and matches our existing cabinets and granite counter tops perfectly! Also, the work people were very professional and skilled with their respective trades. Hats off to Mike, George, Zack, & Amy (carpentry), Bruce with HR Electric, Chris (tile), Ricky (drywall), Rick (plumbing), and Keith (painting).     Awesome organization, and I was completely satisfied with this experience. Taking Measurements: They came out, on time to take measurements. Their process was very efficient. It only took about 30 minutes and the gentleman was out the door. The best thing was he has over 25 years experience in both taking measurements and installation. He answered all my questions and explained things that was a concern to me. Day of Installation: My wife was hone and she was totally satisfied with the installation. They arrived on time and installed the countertops with no issues. They cleaned up and then explained to my wife the process to take care of the countertops. Countertops: We purchased Black Quarts with a little bit of sparkles in it. We have white upper/lower cabinets and a gray cabinet island. The countertops makes the whole kitchen pop. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company as I feel like they put us first and we really appreciate it

    We decided to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom and contracted with Virginia Bath Company (Rich Sowinski) for the job. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way things worked out. We can summarize our experience in “4 C’s.” Communication: Rich was unfailingly responsive. Email and text messages were his primary media, which suited us well (avoiding phone tag). The terms of the contract were precise and explicit. Once the job began, Rich started each day by telling us what he would be doing. We never felt in the dark about any aspect of the work. Courtesy: Given the expected disruption and inconvenience of this kind of project, the personalities of the people doing the work can make things easier or more difficult. Rich and all of his associates were unfailingly polite and pleasant. This seriously lessened the disruption in our lives while the work was being done. In fact, we began to look forward to Rich’s appearance each morning to brief us on the day’s work in his extremely cheerful and positive manner. Coordination: Since this was a complete remodel, the job involved Rich and his assistant, a cabinet maker for the new vanity, a plumber, an electrician, a painter, the people who built and installed the glass door for the shower, and the people who installed the new countertop. Every single one of these did their appointed job on the exact date promised by Rich; there was not a single exception. This speaks volumes about the relationship Rich has with his subcontractors. Craftsmanship: The new bathroom looks great. We do not have a single complaint with the quality of the workmanship (and we have looked over the final result very carefully). Overall, we recommend Virginia Bath Company without reservation. They provided, by far, the best experience we have had with serious work on our house

    I live in a historic district. Last summer, began searching for a contractor to replace my front porch. Multiple companies gave me estimates. Months later, I was finally ready to have the work done. It was a struggle finding someone who would honor their estimates. That’s when Doug stepped up. Originally, I thought he wanted to do more than what was necessary by replacing the undercarriage of the porch. But his assessment was 100%spot on! Doug fully honored his estimate. The Pratte Construction crew did a thorough job! In light of the current cost lumber, the estimate was a bargain and they completed the job on time. I’m now discussing to have them build new railings for the porch. Don’t think you can go wrong with them
