We code

Code concerns itself with the language of technology. Our focus is both on designing new technology and on opening up existing technology to find out how it works. We believe that technology isn’t just a mysterious black box with inherent conventions and principles we must accept. Technology is man-made. It is, therefore, imbued with our values and sometimes contains our biases, prejudices, and thinking errors. Code raises awareness of the assumptions present in technology and at how it can strengthen the position of citizens (democratisation through digitisation).
