DMM Squared ConstructionI couldn’t be more impressed and happy with the work that Mr Mueller did on our property. We had an old, unsafe landing on the water at our property. We also had a very steep concrete pathway down to the landing which wasn’t safe either. All of the work was going to be a challenge considering the landscape and being that our home is on Lake Hartwell, Mr Mueller had to work within the guidelines of the Army Corp of Engineers which was even more challenging. He provided the Army Corp with detailed documentation they required and got to work. The landing and custom staircase that he built on top of the concrete pathway is beautiful and will surely last for many years. I will, without a doubt use him for future projects that we have planned at our home. Highly recommend DMM Squared Construction!!- Derrick H.

Craftsman ConceptsJim and his crew did excellent work. They replaced our existing deck and added a new sunroom 20'x12'. Sunroom included two walls of windows, roof with gutters, drywall and painting. Custom Construction & Renovations IncI used Custom Renovations, as well as Custom Electric for a major updating of my 1930s house in the Lindley Park area of Greensboro. The electrical work began 12/04/18, with the demolition starting 7/09/19. The job completion (with final walk-through) was 1/28/20. There were multiple aspects to the total job: attic insulation, floor refinishing, redoing of an old back porch (which involved raising my back roof line to raise my master bathroom's ceiling), adding a back deck, and painting the house's interior walls. Both bathrooms were updated, as well as my kitchen. In the process, all my old iron piping was upgraded as well. Custom Electric not only replaced all my old "knob & tube" wiring, but also placed additional wall outlets & smoke detectors to bring the house into current code compliance. The Custom employees (foreman, electrical, plumbing & carpentry), as well as the various contractors (painters, dry wall installers, tilers, insulators, & floor refinishers) employed by Custom were all very professional and did a great job. Chris S******, Custom's owner, was very accessible to answer any of my concerns & provided expert options to the many decisions (structural & electrical) that arose during the process. Christin G*********, my Custom design consultant, was invaluable in walking me through the many design decisions that confronted me: kitchen cabinet, sink, fixtures, tile & countertop selections, bathroom configurations, shower design, fixtures & sink selections, floor stains, etc. She assisted me in navigating the various suppliers of these items, and was patient and informative. During the whole project, I ended up asking Custom for 12 change orders, Some changes were necessitated by issues arising during the construction. Some changes were additions I just requested as the project moved along. From the beginning through to the end, both Chris & Christin were transparent about the project's costs. In summary, Custom did a very professional job and I would recommend them. I'm very pleased with my house's upgrades.- John P.

I'm new to the area and called Neil when I found water pouring into the crawlspace of my new house whenever it rained. Neil came out with a member of his team and introduced himself and explained what they planned to look for based on my description. I led himself and his employee down to the crawl area and showed them the water entry point. I also voiced my concerns that on my inspection report when purchasing the house, they mentioned that the support pillars underneath had endured some erosion. While showing all of this to Neil, he noticed mold spots that were missed previously and suggested we do a mold test. He sent it out and within 24 hours the results had been returned with an unfortunate cocktail of mold. Neil went to work immediately that week and sprayed down my crawlspace thoroughly, as well as put down a brand new vapor barrier. All throughout the week he inspected the work to ensure everything was going according to plan. Once the mold had been remediated, he and his staff returned to the house within a few days time to begin the structural work which included pouring concrete and putting in new structural supports. The house ended up needing more work than we initially anticipated, but he was more than willing to work with us in the matter. He and his employee's were professional, friendly and supportive throughout the entire ordeal and they did their best to not interrupt my daily routine. They offer great work and I look forward to using their services in the future. I would recommend them to anyone looking for work similar to my own.

At first they were there in morning and got to work. Thier time management however, sucked. Some days didnt show up until 11am or after or not at all. Made excuses for EVERYTHING. Never squared up existing foundation of deck, so, everything there after was not flush. Overall, we kept complimenting the work and knew how much Vic was trying to make things right. We also understood when things dont go as planned, still giving the benefit of doubt. He asked to be paid for deck on friday at 430 when we NEVER discussed him getting a 'draw' prior to him being done with our job. But still yet,giving benefit of doubt, at last minute on friday paid him the labor so he could pay his crew. Vic told us on Saturday he would be here in a few minutes, he NEVER showed up nor did he call to say he wasnt coming. Apparently, he decided to take his new GF to the aquarium instead of coming to work. One day he had his 2 little grandkids with him while he was working. As hot as it was, we let his grandkids swim in our pool. Again, understanding the babysitter fell thru and he had no choice but to bring them with him while he was trying to work. We paid him everytime he brought us a receipt almost instantly. Today, got home to find a a load of his trash and scrap lumber loaded on my trailer sitting in middle of driveway (he was supposed to take off) and nothing done, had spoke to my husband couple times today, and never once mentioned anything. Came home from work to find out no work done and had left a note saying sorry for the inconvenience but we should find someone else to finish our roof,which he left exposed. He asked me to leave him a 'punch list' of what needed to be completed on deck,which i did. Only for him to pull off the job and tell me to find someone else. Wow! Just Wow!! I guess its safe to say, Never give anyone the benefit of doubt,cause they will screw you in the end. Now, i have to find someone else to finish his half *** job. If you want someone who is honest and reliable, go with someone else! Cause he will give you an excuse every time and will tell you hes on the way,only to find out he was painting his GFs toenails instead of working. The road to **** is paved with excuses.

I hired Bobby's Tree Service to remove 4 very large trees from my backyard. From the time I called them to the day they arrived, they were nothing but kind and professional. They came to my home on 6/9/21 and arrived on time. They immediately started working. I asked to add a few things to my original estimate and Jerry said no problem. I was completely satisfied with the new cost. Those guys worked their tails off. I never saw them take a break, other than their lunch break. I felt so bad since the humidity that day was terrible. I supplied them with water and each time they thanked me. When they were finished, they cleaned up the mess and even seeded and laid straw down. In my line of work, I deal with several vendors on a daily basis and none of them compare to the guys at Bobby's. I am already planning my next appointment with them and would not even consider calling another company. They are certainly worth every dime I paid and will do it again!!!
