Recent Review:
I have mixed feelings about this company. We recently signed up with them to install ~50 new windows, spending a significant amount of money. I think they provide a good product for the most part, but it is too early for me to tell definitively. The windows seem to be well made, and they look nice. I am yet to determine whether or not they make a significant difference in efficiency. I expect them to, as we are replacing original windows that are about 24 years old. The installers did a good job. There are a few things I am not very happy with. First, several of our new windows now have much less glass, making them significantly smaller. These are transom type windows above our main windows. The glass part of our windows is less than half our older windows. I will try to post a picture showing the difference. This was very different than our expectations. Second, they were unable to install all of our windows because some of them did not fit. This was 3 months after waiting for our windows to be made. The ones that didn’t fit happened to be 2 of the 3 large windows right above our front door, front and center of our house... so very noticeable. I can understand that there was a mistake, which I can deal with. The frustrating part was their response. I expected them to make us a priority and remake these windows relatively quickly. Instead, they basically told us they have no idea when the windows will be finished but that it would probably be several more months. And finally - communication. Other than the sales rep we signed up with, the communication from this company has been very poor. It wasn’t communicated to us regarding the difference in window size referred to above. Further, our sales rep put us in touch with his supervisor to address our issues. He has been very unresponsive. After leaving 2 voicemails, I finally contacted our sales rep again, who said he would have his supervisor call us. When we finally spoke, the supervisor asked me to send pictures. I sent him pictures as soon as we hung up, followed up a week later, then followed up again another week later, and still haven’t heard a thing. If you can’t do anything to address these issues than so be it, but at least give me the courtesy of responding. And after a month, we still have no idea when our missing windows will be completed and installed, or anything about the status. After spending A LOT of money and being really patient, I would have expected more communication and much better service from this company.

A bunch of scammers. Skeptical that the positive reviews on here are real reviews. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate for replacing 2 small windows on the side of our house. The call to schedule the estimate took forever, and we never received any sort of confirmation that they said they would send. Their "marketing director" came and told us there was a special "marketing campaign" going on and we would be able to get a big discount if we let them use our house as part of their campaign. Despite the fact that we only wanted 2 windows replaced, they proceed to look at the whole house and pushed hard to get us to consider changing all the windows. It ended up taking almost 2 hours in total during a work day, and they wanted us to sit down with them for 4 MORE HOURS to discuss more details about the "marketing opportunity". Lots of pushy and unscrupulous tactics used. After a quick Google search, realized they pull this same stunt on many poeple. Stay far away from this company.

Domain Construction LLCI initially reached out to Domain Construction for a quote on smoothing my walls. They responded promptly and professionally and I loved them so much I ended up hiring them to install my hardwood floors, do some electrical work, some finish work, renovate the kitchen, etc. They took pride in their work and did the jobs properly, rather than with a “that’s good enough” attitude. I had some unconventional elements that I wanted as part of the design and they really delivered with patience, problem solving, and creativity. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers’ happiness and gratification. Bonuses: positive energy, good vibes, and nice pipes if you like music. Highly recommend!- Michaela S.

DT Home ImprovementExcellent performance, professional, timely, dependable and superior quality of his work. The job was complicated and required cutting into the mainframe of the house to allow for a larger door than the previous 1900’s door frame. Superb craftsmanship!- Nanncy s.

Dan and his team were incredibly professional, adaptable to changes and quality driven. The projects varied significantly in scope and he assembled a team that was able to accomplish our request and exceed our expectations. DT Home ImprovementA++ When all was lost and the bathroom was caving into the basement DT came up with ingenious solutions that saved the bathroom and even made it possible for my invalid mother to bathe. DT’s follow through and tenacity was beyond measure. I have never met a more determined person to see a job through to it’s successful completion with the care, kindness, & honesty he has shown. When he says he will do something, he is a man of his word with no excuses! I feel so blessed we were lucky enough to have him do our job. God knew what he was doing when he sent him to us. This would have been a very difficult job via long distant/absentee instructions & I can’t thank him enough!- Nancy S.

DT Home ImprovementIf you want the best door guy ever, hire Dave. He was referred by a client and he was amazing. There is one gripe: Dave does not charge enough. In a world of craftsman, some highly skilled and some not, those that are should be paid appropriately. If he charges you too little, be honest and give him more.- Oscar M.
