Governor Ralph Northam recently appointed five new members to the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). In addition, SCHEV will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on July 13 at its offices at 101 N. 14th Street, 9th floor, Richmond, VA 23219.

Value of college

College Students Optimistic About Pandemic’s End, But Worried About Job Prospects And Value Of College

"A new national online survey shows that after struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic for more than a year, a majority of college students are feeling optimistic about the course of the disease, but many are also worried about their own economic futures and are increasingly skeptical about the value of higher education in general ... Those are among the main takeaways from One Year Later: COVID-19s Impact on Current and Future College Students," reports Forbes.
