MIET graduate (1978). Has been working at MIET since 1978 as an engineer and a researcher and since 1987 as an associate professor of the department of Informatics and Computer Software Design.

In 1997 became the director of MIET Additional Education Centre, and in 1998 - the Head of Moscow Regional Centre of New Information Technologies. Since 1999 to 2007 has been the Dean of Distance Education Department.
