The Zodiac is the twelve constellations in the form of animals or humans.
Western Zodiac[change | change source]
The modern astrological signs are the simplified pictures of the signs used in the Hellenistic times. These are the twelve animals the signs represent:
- Aries (The Ram)
- Taurus (The Bull)
- Gemini (The Twins)
- Cancer (The Crab)
- Scorpio (The Scorpion)
- Sagittarius (The horse)
- Capricorn (The goat)
- Aquarius (The Water bearer)
- Pisces (The two fishes)
A person's Zodiac sign is determined by at what time and on what day they are born.
