    The other one is that most corporations were designed around offices — HQs, regional offices etc. Asking them to un-ship all that institutional knowledge is asking a lot.

    I haven't heard a lot about how the remote vs in-person is as much a generational one as anything else. People who have spent decades honing in their skills via in-person work are unlikely to trade in those advantages, especially if they have the power to do keep the status quo

    The thing about project management is that it is an arbitrary set of heuristic practices with somewhere between homeopathic and chiropractic levels of effectiveness. All the scaffolding (Gantt charts, GTD etc) is basically the behavioral equivalent of Myers-Briggs or astrology.
