JW Home ImprovementI have used JW Home Improvement on three or four jobs for my home. The quality of their work is uniformly excellent. Their employees are courteous, thorough, and professional, and they always clean up well after completing a job. While they are not the cheapest handyman service in town, you get what you pay for. The only area where they could use some improvement is with their invoicing/billing process. There have been some errors on a couple of my jobs' invoices; however, the office has always made the necessary corrections quickly and without any fuss. Just keep good records of the hours worked by your technician, and you will have no problem.- Deborah S.

JW Home ImprovementWe had a wide range of tasks that needed to be done around our house, and we saved a lot of time and money by having JW do all of them, rather than hiring multiple separate firms. Kevin and Soren did an excellent job -- they did quality work, worked efficiently, and and were good to communicate with. Jesse did an excellent job helping us define the scope of our project and identify what needed to be done (and what didn't need to be done). Kevin even made a couple extra trips to complete some electrical work that proved to be more complex than we anticipated. American Exteriors & MasonryWe knew that the demolition work would expose additional repairs that would need to be done. The crew worked quickly to handle the demo work, and we were able to get a solid idea of the additional work to be done. After an honest review of what was needed, we came to an agreement on a reasonable price and all of the repair and replace work for our roof overhang and carport was completed. Ace Deck & FenceHernan and his crew at Ace, Deck, & Fence (AD&F, LLC) built me a gorgeous fence and under-deck screen porch. They were meticulous, thoughtful, skilled, professional, and efficient in their work. On top of that, Hernan is simply enjoyable to work with. My yard/project had a number of challenges to solve, and he solved each of them with enthusiasm and creativity. It is crystal clear he takes immense pride in what he creates. Their quote wasn’t the cheapest I received (also not the most expensive), but the quality output and seamlessness of the process is worth the price, without a doubt. I would strongly recommend Hernan and Ace, Deck, & Fence to friends, family, neighbors, even co-workers, in a heartbeat. In fact, I already have. Lorenzo came out at the appointed time to look over our property and sent his estimate two days later. He patiently worked with us as we revised what we wanted until we were satisfied that it would meet our needs. We decided on board-on-board back yard fences, solid front fences (all fences of pressure-treated pine), and cedar gates, to reduce the weight of our two wide double gates. His price was competitive. The actual installation was delayed by February weather, but Lorenzo kept us informed as the dates changed. Sergio led the fence crew. He was careful to ask about anything he wasn’t sure of and made certain all the work was done to high standards. Everything looks great, the cedar gates are easy to open and close, and the crew cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The entire installation took only a day and a half. Our neighbors were impressed. And now our dog can run around a securely fenced yard.
