The discrepancy was so bad last winter we had to move upstairs just to keep our infant warm at night. We contacted Shumate and they sent someone the next business day to come discuss our problem and suggest a solution (with a quote before he left). He proposed installing a zoned system onto our existing HVAC that would enable us to have thermostats upstairs, downstairs, and a wireless one in our bedroom. Once we finally decided to move forward with the project, Shumate was extremely flexible with allowing us to dictate the day to get started and needed little more than 24 hours notice. The technicians came early the morning of the appointment and worked tirelessly for a solid 4-5 hours until the job was complete. They used drop cloths on the stairs and below the attic entrance to contain loose insulation and to keep the area tidy. After the work was complete, the lead tech spent a considerable amount of time showing me (enthusiastically) the system, the work that was performed, some suggestions for setting the thermostats, and answering all my questions. So far the system has worked exceedingly well, but I am oddly eager for it to get really cold to really put it to the test

"Coolray has always had a solid reputation in Metro Atlanta. I've lived in this house for 19 years and the existing AC unit is at least 29 years old. Each year the Coolray service techs tell me they would love to sell me a new 3-ton AC Unit...but since my current outside unit is still working there is no reason to mess with a good thing. Of course, this system uses freon and you can't legally buy it anymore, you just can't find a more honest service company than Coolray.
They did install a new Trane furnace 10 years ago during the winter when the older one died, but it was a great deal and an incredibly smooth installation. I would suggest Coolray to anyone who needs an honest service company that you can trust will get the job done right the first time.
