The Carpenter's HandI contacted Jeff in July 2020 for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. He was able to make it out to my house later that day and provide a pretty good estimate considering we didn’t know the exact details of what we wanted just the layout. Jeff was very friendly and upfront about how much he charged for everything. After thinking about it for a week we decided to go with them and get on the schedule. My wife was pregnant at the time and Jeff was very accommodating to schedule the job prior to her due date which was in September. His crew did an outstanding job from demoing to completing the bathroom. His team even made suggestions for the design as they were building it out that surpassed what we had envisioned. During the process his team found issues and mistakes made by our builder which they corrected. Jeff was always upfront on any additional costs throughout the project and always asked before proceeding. In the end we went over budget but that was our fault for not knowing exactly what we wanted to do when we started the project. My advice if you can get as much completed on design and materials ahead of time the better. We will hire them in the future for other projects.- Reginald B.

D Michael DesignsAwesome! Dave was great to work with. We had heard great things about him and D. Michael Designs, and we were very pleasantly surprised with his quote for all of the work. Once we signed our contract, things actually got better. Dave kept us updated every day as to what the schedule was and who would be coming to the house. All of his subs were on time and very pleasant to work with. We had a few issues with material not arriving on time, but that was not Dave's responsibility. Once it did, it was back to work. I have hired A-team for multiple small an large scale projects for commercial buildings for past couple of years. We had a moderately large project and Crystals attention to detail and efforts to stay within our timeline without sacrificing quality was outstanding. All the trades delivered exceptional workmanship. The process was virtually stress free because Crystal oversaw all and kept us apprised of all matters. She offers great alternative suggestions for design and was completely open to incorporating several of our purchases into the design. We felt very confident with the process and extremely satisfied with the outcome. And they don’t disappear once the project is completed. We have had them back a couple of times for very minor touch ups. Great to know they remain accessible after the project is completed.

Working with Brad Westphall (Westphall Remodeling) has been a great experience from the moment he stopped by our home to provide an estimate until the time our project was completed. The price quoted was reasonable and in-line with other quotes that were provided, but the factors that convinced us to hire Brad were the phenomenal pictures that he provided of other projects he had completed in the past and the high reviews that were posted about his work. Our project included extending the back-porch patio, building a fireplace, replacing the back-porch ceiling, adding electrical power for recessed can lights and ceiling fans, staining the back-porch floor, and extending a unique roofline. Brad’s goal was to make the back-porch extension and roofline look like it was part of the original build of the home, so he had to be creative. He definitely hit the mark!! We don’t think the original builder could have done a better job. The level of professionalism that we experienced was evident from the beginning when we received a detailed contract of the work to be performed as well as a comprehensive breakdown of the drawings that we were able to provide to our Property Owners Association for approval. In addition to being professional, Brad and his subcontractors were always punctual, friendly, and detail oriented. We could tell they took a lot of pride in their work. Brad made sure that we knew when each subcontractor was supposed to arrive and provided an estimated completion date. The contractors always made sure that their work area was neat and clean at the end of each day. Brad took the time to stop by daily to inspect the work done the previous day and answer any questions that we had. He kept the lines of communication open and there was never a time that we e-mailed or called him that he did not respond immediately. We would definitely recommend Westphall Remodeling to our friends and family!
