Nicely Dunn Handyman Service IncScott did an amazing job on our fence repair. Our wooden fence had some rotting posts and the fence was falling in as a result. Scott took out the rotting posts and replaced them with new ones. He cut the old posts into pieces so they would be ready to put out for trash pick-up. We had ropes holding up the fence, and he and his team removed those as part of the job. He is very service-oriented and did very high quality work!- MOLLY W.

Northland Fence MinnesotaHonestly, I thought everything went great with Northland Fence. From the very beginning, they seemed on top of everything and were incredibly responsive. Great overall customer service, installation, and product. I dealt with Kaya initially, who answered some of my questions regarding the process, and gave me a rough quote based off of some measurements a competitor had given us. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions. Our initial yard measure was with Paul, who was polite and knowledgeable. He explained what would and wouldn't work for us, and truthfully, he was probably the reason we went with Northland. We'd had a few other measures done by other companies that left me feeling like I was getting pressured into something I could never afford. This was not like that at all, and it was a huge relief. The actual price quote was competitive, and we choose to go with Northland. They were able to get to us sooner than originally anticipated, and construction began 5/10/21. The post driving crew were great, and had the posts in by the end of the day 5/10/21. The installation of the actual vinyl fencing was done by Hunter and Cooper. Again, very knowledgeable and helpful answering our questions. They did leave a few more screws laying around our driveway than were necessary, but the fence went up quick and was done by end of day 5/14/21. Everything looks and works great. Finally, I talked to Hannah when it came time to pay on 5/18/21. I had a small issue in that we'd been expecting a tube for our drop rod to be installed. She had someone here by end of day to complete this task and we've been 100% pleased ever since.- Dan V.

Awesome! Rob was so easy to work with. Communicated well and was willing to work around some other work we were having done in the yard. His crew was very nice to talk to and respectful of my property (as well as my neighbors). It looks great and my neighbors also think it is a beautiful looking fence. I would hire them again in a blink, everything went very smoothly. I did get a couple of quotes from other companies but I appreciated Rob's style and how quickly he got back to me. He was right in line with others. I did have one company give me a bid that was higher and I had scheduled it with them but when I checked their Angie's reviews they were terrible. Crossed them off and found Top Notch and I am very happy I did.

Initially, things went OK. After the work was completed, there were several issues with the install; pickets hung crooked, property was destroyed (workers stepped on and bent newly installed gutters and downspouts), and one gate was repositioned in a different spot without my approval which rendered my neighbors gate inoperable as well as interfered with the external dryer vent on my house. I contacted the owner of the company (Julian) and the issues were tended to, although it took several days. The fence did not fare well through the winter, however. I phoned Julian in March to tell him that the back gate was falling apart and would not stay closed due to the latch being improperly installed. I asked him to take a look at it and get back to me. I patiently waited for him, but after 5 weeks of nothing, I phoned again and left a message indicating that he had exactly 10 days to attend to the matter. In that time frame, more pickets from the fence and gate fell off. Apparently, the workers stapled the pickets on with inappropriately sized fasteners. The owner texted me on the 10th day stating that he would come to fix the fence and gate and gave me a date. At 2pm on that date, no one had shown up. I received a text at 8pm stating that he had been by to fasten all the pickets and would be back on Saturday to fix the gate. It's Saturday and he has not been here. Currently, the gate is completely unusable and utterly unsightly. He reattached the pickets haphazardly and they scrape the driveway. I am shocked at how negligent he has been throughout the whole process and regret the day I hired him. I have pictures of this disgrace. I should also mention that this was not an inexpensive project. But I paid 100% more than what it was worth.

Fair. Sales guy knowledgeable. Took long time to get scheduled. They called once and left a voice mail. I called back twice leaving voicemails. Called again after another month and got scheduled. Communications was not great. Biggest complaint on $20K+ roofing job is no customer follow up. Just an invoice. No one inspecting afterwards. No one asking if you have questions or concerns. No one wanting to know how things went. Just an invoice. Expected more. Would not use again.
