Within days his crew came out and proceeded to make sure that the rooms and closets that were not done, sealed from the dust created from sanding. When done they cleaned up and left the rooms spotless. These floors have not been touched in over 50 years and now they look beautiful.

In the fall we contacted Floor Finishers for a quote to resurface our hardwood floors. Marty scheduled a time to come out and inspect the job. He provided us with a very reasonable quote. As it turned out, we weren't ready to do the work until recently. When we contacted them again, Marty immediately pulled up the previous quote. We were quite happy that he honored the price from several months ago. In addition, we were pleased that the job could be completed the next week. We went into the process expecting it would take 2 days to finish. Marty's team arrived right on time. They lent assistance in moving a few pieces of furniture my husband and I couldn't move. They worked very quickly to expertly refinish our floors. We had an area that was damaged. Marty's team recommended we stain the floor a darker color to help mask the damage. The additional cost was nominal. The floors were finished by mid-day. Of course, it took 24 hours for them to dry. We decided not to sleep in our house the first night. The process was fantastic my floors look amazing. It took one full day. The workers arrived on time. They put up plastic to keep dust away from the rest of the house and even closed the door to the bathroom and put painters tape around the opening to keep dust out of the room. The smell wasn't too bad and went away after about a day. The owner, Aaron, stopped by to make sure things were going according to plan. Aaron was very responsive and quick to answer phone calls or emails to answer all my questions. He also was very understanding of the fact that I want to have all the hardwood floors in the house refinished but that because of the fact that I actually live in the house I will have to have it done in several phases. He helped make a plan for doing the rest of the levels in the house. I'm very pleased and will absolutely have him do the rest of the house. I am so excited about these rooms and I am looking forward to doing the next level of the house.

The oak tiles were old and badly stained in many places. I first thought it would be best to purchase new flooring. The provider suggested that resurfacing would be a better option. I was reluctant to do the job as it was unclear if the staining could be removed. They offered to do a test and would refund the entire deposit if I decided that the stains could not be removed. They did a great job. The floors look new and beautiful.

Due to positive reviews on Angie's list I called Denny and Gardner to provide an estimate for a kitchen remodel that included refinishing the hardwood floors that were damaged due a leaking refrigerator. Norm was very responsive and helpful during our initial telephone conversation and the next day he promptly showed up for a visual inspection of the proposed work. He said he would get back to me in about a week with an estimate. However, after 3 weeks I did not hear from Norm so I initiated contact with him to inquire about the estimate. He stated that he was out of town and was unable to work on a proposal. He apologized and a few days later I received a proposal from his partner, Jason. The price was much higher than anticipated, but I really liked Norm and Jason's professionalism so I emailed Jason and Norm asking if we could scale back the work to fit our budget. About 2 weeks later I received an email from Norm stating that Jason was out of town and would get back to me later. After a month goes by and still no word from Jason or Norm, I decided to go with another contracting company for my kitchen remodel. If this company returned emails and followed up as expected, I probably would have used them. Unfortunately, this type of unreliability was a deal breaker for me.

Super Service Award Recent Review: From the initial contact to the final inspection the owner, Aaron Goodman, was professional in every aspect of the project. Mr. Goodman arrived on time, listened to what needed to be accomplished, and set realistic expectations for the project. These expectations were not met. THEY WERE FAR EXCEEDED. The technicians that arrived to perform the work definitely had experience which was apparent throughout each phase of the project. The flooring in the home refinished by AG Construction is nearly 70 years old. The technicians not only brought the flooring back to its original glory, they were also able to remove several surface stains that had been hidden by years of neglect under carpeting. I have no hesitation in recommending AG Construction to family and friends as this is the type of company that a person wants doing work in their home. I hope not to need flooring services for many years, but should the need arise I will definitely be working with AG Construction.
