Security Door Installers in Ashburn

We need security doors (front & back sliding door), safety rail, security bars on windows, and repair of one security door. T and his crew were amazing. I called him on a Friday afternoon, he called back right away, was at our house on Sat to measure, provided quote on Tuesday, was at the house on Wed to answer my question about a change to the front door. What was great was that he had hundreds of pictures of the iron work they've done on his iPad, and it was so nice to see samples and talk through what I wanted, and he'd show an example of the work on his iPad. there was no second guessing. he said that the work would be done on Sat. however, one of his guys called in sick & the work couldn't be done. He promised me that even though they didn't work on Sundays, he said that he would be there to install the bars. And on Sunday, he and his crew were there. T is the utmost professional, courteous, on time and within budget. plan to use him again to install a two more safety rails and a handrail in a couple months.

They came when they said they were going to. Everything went smoothly. I am pleased, 100% happy.

Visited showroom in Gaithersburg. We were treated very professionally, everything was explained. Great service. Installers were on time, very courteous, very neat. Made sure we were completely satisfied before leaving.

Overall it went very well. The salesperson was very attentive. He helped me through the process. He assisted me through the choices needed, even though I was indecisive at times, he hung in there with me. The installers were very thorough during installation. Loved the work once fully completed. I would definitely recommend and use the services of The Whiting Company again.

Professional work and timely service, but fairly expensive for work performed. I also received estimates for storm security doors and found Home Depot does equivalent custom security storm doors and installation for 40% less. Home Depot and Keyed both utilize third party contractors to build customs storm security doors.

They have done roof repairs for us. We have not had a problem with the roof since. They replaced all of our windows and installed a security door as well as security bars on the windows in the lower level. We will be using them for future work.

My doors had to be specially made because the way my house is, it wasn't the average door seal. The workers were very good, it was three of them I think. Nothing stuck out, just average. I purchased the Angie's List deal and was able to schedule service the very next day. Gary Jr. and Herb arrived at 7:30 on the dot, as promised. I had sent over a list of projects, so I walked through the items with them. They immediately got to work. They ended up needing some materials (I anticipated that due to the nature of the projects), and told me exactly what I needed to get. While I was gone they continued to work diligently on task. By the time I got back, they were looking for more work! Ultimately they were able to knock off everything on my list and more. Very pleased with the quality of their work and their efficiency. Will definitely be calling them back for additional projects.

They went above and beyond coming back to add a piece to the door jamb so it would shut securely.

Everything went well as described above. Helped guide me to more aesthetic materials and looks to avoid unsightly look of conventional bars. Doors were secure and very well made. Installation techs were nice, prompt, curteous and performed additional security boosting measures on installation with no additional charge.

Fine - the new sliding doors are much higher quality than the ones they replaced. Sturdier and more secure.

They did an excellent job and explained everything to me. He went over everything and cleaned up along the way. He was timely, professional, pleasant, and informative. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

Craftmasters owner was communicative and would have arrived earlier had I been home. He was able to work with my storm door to diminish a large gap created by problems with the structure of the door frame. The door now has virtually no gap, so the storm door actually protects from the weather! The main door was also in need of adjustment as the deadbolt could only be secured by putting full body weight on the door while turning the lock. He was able to adjust the lock so that it was operable with far less pressure - while remaining secure. In addition, he refastened the various pieces of the handle and trim so that they too were secure.

The experience was very good. They make the door themselves. They were punctual, did a nice clean job and the salesman was very nice. I think they put the door up within 2-3 weeks of me calling them. They were a little higher than other people, but it was okay.

It went really well. The gentleman was friendly and professional. He did exactly what he said he would do. He was also punctual and knowledgeable. He made some suggestions of some other thing in the house that needed to be taken care of.

Terrible. Disappointed in the lack of customer service to fix their problem. I purchased several security doors years ago. On the last door, the paint has started chipping on the inside and outside of the door. I spoke to several sales managers and they wanted pictures of the door. I sent the pictures. We played phone tag for weeks, very unresponsive. I purchased several doors in the past and the paint has not chipped on those so I didn't think it should be doing this on the newer door. They tell me it cost $1,000 to refurbish the door that is the only thing they can do. That is like buying a new door! I got a second opinion and I was told this should not have happened if the door was properly primed and sealed in the beginning. I can see the metal under the chippings. Management should do more to keep loyal customers and come back to fix the problem. I will look for other companies with better customer service to take action for a reasonable fee or free to warranty their product based on their poor workmanship.
