I wish there were a "maybe" option for "Would you use this provider in the future." First, the positives: Mike was incredibly responsive throughout--called to follow up multiple times, showed up when he said he would, etc. On the major parts of the job (repairing the front stoop, fixing cracked sidewalks), the work seemed to be done well. My frustration was with the repairs to the brick on the house. During our walk-through, I pointed out the areas that I wanted fixed--mostly cracks, with a few holes were wires were pulled out, etc. After the repairs, I was left with a cracked brick in the middle of an area where they'd pointed the grout and missed cracks/holes entirely. In a couple of areas, the workers had removed spray foam but didn't fix the cracks/holes beneath. When I sent the pics to Mike, he said he'd send someone back to fix the missed areas, but on the cracked brick in the middle of the repaired area his response was, well, you didn't ask me to replace that brick. Yeah...I'd assumed that was included in the "I'd like this area fixed" direction. He sent a mason out again, and most of my concerns were fixed, but I was still left with some damaged areas. When I again talked to Mike about it, and suggested I would have preferred a complete repair, even if it meant a few hundred dollars' higher bill, his response was, "Well, most people don't want the bill to go up--thanks for understanding." So, I'm torn; I think this company would probably do a good job on a new project or big replacement, but I don't think I would recommend for repairs, unless the homeowner were willing to walk the property with a piece of chalk, marking every single thing s/he wanted repaired.
