Our one year old miniature schnauzer was in desperate need of obedience training. He had previously been owned by our daughter who did not attempt any type of training. He was very aggressive towards other dogs, would never come when we called him and was generally stubborn. Taking him for a walk was no picnic. He pulled on the leash so much it was if he was walking me. When we would come across another dog, there was no controlling our schnauzer. Andrew the owner of CTC was recommended by our neighbor who had used him for private training sessions. We chose to register our dog into the 2 week "Board and Train program as we didn't think private lessons were going to be enough. Let me just say that when it was time to retrieve him he was a different dog. Andrew worked with us before we brought him home as we also needed some training on how to handle him...basic dos and don'ts and tips on how to reinforce what our dog had learned. Now taking him for a walk is a pleasure. He sits patiently at the door prior to our walks and doesn't move until I give him the command. Now I walk him instead of the other way around. Andrew is a very good trainer and very accommodating. He always followed up to see how we were doing. In reference to installation of the fencing system, it included all equipment needed, 3 training lessons, plus the collar is rechargeable (rather having to periodically purchase new batteries). Andrew did the work and the training himself.

I highly recommend contacting Hidden Fence if you are considering a fence for you dog. Lester has obviously spent time understanding canine behavior and has built a product and training that emphasizes using an electric fence to support training and learned behavior. Other systems we researched rely on the shock system to provide the training. Lester spent only an hour installing our fence system and two hours training our dog and progressively increasing the "shock" power. Our dog learned the boundary of the fence on the lowest power. It is clear that Lester uses a system tailored specifically to each dog and not based on age, weight, or breed. We contacted Hidden Fence via the website and received a personalized email within a few hours setting up a phone conversation. Lester spent nearly an hour with me on the phone talking about the Hidden Fence product, services, pricing, and answering specific questions we had. Scheduling and installation was easy and straightforward. The price and service were delivered exactly as explained over the phone. We highly recommend contacting Lester at Hidden Fence if considering using this type of product.

We did quite a few things with them. In the past I used them for animal training and to put in an invisible fence. They were fine. When I told them what happened they came out right away. It was easy to arrange an appointment. I was very pleased and the work they did turned out well; it was repaired.

First called for an estimate, then Don went out to our property to make sure everything was able to be done. Someone who worked for Don came out and installed the fence and, in the same day, began to train our dog to use it. He was excellent and very good with our dog (a lab/golden retriever mix). That next week Don came out to check in, raise the power of the fence, and train/ show us how to train our dog. After that second visit our dog had the fence down! Very caring people, very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend them and already have to a friend (who is going to use them also!)!

Everything went well. Richard took the time to train our dog and the fence has worked very well. We moved out of our house when we had a pipe burst. In the process, we misplaced the electric fence collar and our dog figured out that he could leave our property without getting shocked. Richard came back out and retrained our dog so that he now stays in our yard again. Pet Stop does excellent work and has supported us over the years to keep our dog safe. I highly recommend them.

He showed on time for the quote, plus the install and was very nice plus professional. On the install day, he brought his "helper" his own dog, which helped my dog learn how to use the flags to know where the "invisible line" was not to cross, he was amazing - wonderful and very good with my dog. Followed up with us on how our dog was doing with the fence, has answered every call with any questions and we plan to do an additional purchase with him in the near future. We can't stress enough how stress free, following through with what he said he was going to do, and helping us teach our dog about the fence. This company was the best choice in many ways from the price and the amazing staff we dealt with and continue to deal with.

Mike did an outstanding job. He was extremely professional and knew his product inside and out. His methodology for training was humane, low impact and easy. A great product and follow on customer service at a reasonable price point. We highly recommend his company.

It was terrific. Not only did they install it but they also gave dog training advice. They went over and above the minimum requirements. They checked back more often than they really needed in order to make sure everything was OK. Richard had a good relationship with my dog. He was very affectionate with my dog.

Brian came out immediately and convinced us this is the way to go. Installation was done quickly and no mess was left. Dog had been trained and we are happy.

First and foremost, Richard could not be a nicer person. You can tell he enjoys his work and is a true animal lover. This is the second time we use Dog Containment Systems. We got a new dog back in December, and had an incident where the landscapers accidentally cut the fence and needed to get it repaired. A quick email and I got a call back from Donna. I tolde her what I needed done and she gave me a firm quote over the phone. No surprises. Richard arrived promptly when scheduled and was able to quickly find and repair the breaks. He re-flagged the yard (part of training) and spent time training the puppy. He then left us instructions on how to do the follow-on training and how to adjust the fence when we need to. Of note, I actually called about 4 months ago. Donna and I talked and she said that until the puppy had some obedience training and could understand what "no" meant, that the fence wouldn't be effective. Basically it would just be punitive and leave the dog confused. I'm glad we waited and glad they were honest about the timing. Great company. I can't recommend them enough.

INVISIBLE FENCE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING THE FENCE WITH MINIMAL DISTURBANCE TO THE DRIVEWAY AND LANDSCAPE AREAS. THE TRAINING PROVIDED TO OUR DOG WAS VERY EFFECTIVE AND THEY MAIL OUT YOUR NEW BATTERIES FOR DOG COLLAR BEFORE THEY EXPIRE.

We found Mike (Hidden Fence, INC.) on Angies List and contacted him. We called him and had a quick conversation. He immediately set up an appointment with us and came to our home. While here he spent a good amount of time with us. Mike explained everything, walked the property, answered all over questions, met our dog, and just really made us feel very comfortable that this would work with our pet. There was no pressure from Mike trying to sell to us and no money needed for deposit. We called Mike within the next couple days to move forward. Mike covers everything and schedules Ms Utility to mark your yard prior to him digging. Mike is a one man show, works quickly and does great work. He had our yard installed within a few hours and then it was time to train the dog. I was really impressed with Mike and his patience. Our dog caught on quickly and Mike spent plenty of time with us and our pet. Mike trained the dog on the entire property. Of course, its highly recommended that a few of the family members are there to help in the training because it teaches you a lot as well. So after a month plus of having the system we LOVE IT! We keep saying it is the best money we have spent on our home. Our dog loves it to. She loves to be able to roam the yard and has not tried to escape once. Mike has been great with follow up. Let me just say, Mike is so easy to work with and really knows his business. We highly recommend him! If you are thinking about a Hidden Fence. Go with Mike! You will be very happy and so will your Dog.

Fantastic service and installation. Richard was on time(actually early!!) and was able to complete install in one day. Very professional and knowledgable about the product. Provided training to the dog and me, the dog has done very well with the fence, it has allowed more freedom and exercise I would not hesitate to use this company again

I see that this provider only receives As, so I guess I am going to be the exception. We had an invisible fence at our home. We got a new dog, and had to get the lines repaired (after landscaping) and dog training. We had an old system. On the second visit, the trainer came out and recommended that we get the new, lighter, micro collar. I asked how much. He told me $500. I went and got my wife, she asked how much, and the trainer said $500. We said no thanks. A few days later another trainer came out, and also recommended that we upgrade. I asked how much, and she said between $200 and $250. I asked her to double check, she called the main office, and told me it was $199 plus tax. I said sure. I just now called corporate headquarters to query about the price discrepancy. Their agent told me that it was $500 if I upgraded the entire system, collar, panel, and so on. But $199 if I just upgraded the collar The agent suggested that I probably did not understand what the trainer was telling me. I know what I heard. And I know that the trainer did not tell me that there was a lower cost option. So, let this be a notice to all those who wonder about upgrading. Also, we had our first invisible fence when we lived in Minnesota. The training involved three visits, with the trainer spending a fair bit of quality time with the dog (about 30-60 minutes each time). From this service provider, the "training" essentially represented the trainer showing me what I needed to do, which took about 5 minutes. The third visit we got a really professional trainer, who clearly knew her stuff and cared about the training, and spent time with the dog. More what I expected.

Everything went superbly! Darius was wonderful. The work was done efficiently and his explanation of the system and training the dogs was excellent.

I messaged Mike via Angie's List and he got in touch immediately. We discussed my needs and Mike came over to assess the property and fence line and gave me a packet and I knew immediately that I would be comfortable giving him my business. Within a week of the original contact, my fence was installed and Mike provided a training lesson for my two, rather unruly, chocolate labs. The training session went well and both dogs quickly seemed to pick up on the parameters of their 'confinement' in the 'safe' area. Mike left me with detailed instructions on follow up training along with a User Manual. They had their second exposure today and all went well. Mike is a consummate professional, personable and I was delighted with how quickly he provided the service. I only wish he also did Roofing, Driveway installation and home remodeling! I've had less success with Angie's List providers I've contacted in the same timeframe. I feel confident that Mike stands behind his product and service and, if I have any issues, he will be there to help. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Mike and Hidden Fence to Angie's List members who need invisible fencing for their pets.

This is the 2nd Invisible Fence we had installed by Mike. Mike is awesome! He brought his dog, Hazlitt, with him this time to help with the training. I only have positives to say about Mike. Anyone can do the installation. But Mike goes above and beyond with training your dog. Even with the second installation at our new home Mike still spent considerable time with our Dog. And of course our Dog loves Mike and Hazlitt. We are 110% satisfied. Not sure you can get better service than what Mike offers!! Oh and the fence is genius. Our rescue Hound Dog has never once gone through it. She has had many temptations, i.e., rabbits, deer, cats, other dogs, etc. But she will not go through it. For the doubters of the invisible fence. Me, I hated the thought of fencing my yard with wood etc and the maintenance of it. The Invisible Fence is the perfect solution. As I said this is our 2nd install by Mike. If you ever had doubts that it won't work. Your dog would not learn the boundaries, etc., call Mike. He will train your dog and you on on to use it. I definitely was a doubter. Now I am a believer! Call Mike and give your Pet the freedom of roaming your yard. And give yourself the peace of mind that your pet is safe and having fun.

My Mom was moving from MO to VA where she bought a house. I told KC that I needed him to build a fence the day after settlement because my mother was driving to VA with her dogs and they had to have a fence built in time or she couldn't move in. I ran into an issue with the HOA but KC helped me navigate through things with them and the County and I had no problem getting approval to build my fence. The fence is very well constructed and they used high quality materials. The crew left the area very clean and free of nails. This is the fourth time I've used MC Fence and Deck. Simply put-I know that I can count on them! I know that I will get exactly what I want because they really care about their customers and want to make sure they are satisfied.
