I was very pleased with the service provided by KeyedIn, LLC. We had placed a call to another locksmith that we had used in the past, who was not at all professional. He didn't show up when he was supposed to and never called. Remembering that I had a subscription with Angies List, gave me the opportunity to put their service to use. I called KEYEDIN, LLC in the early afternoon, and we had someone here within 2 hours of the call. Can't beat that! We had our doorknob changed to a commercial lock. Great service! and good price. Very pleased!

Bob is very reliable and a professional. He arrived on time & was quick. The cost was fair & reasonable, & the keys work great. I especially like that he offered to make additional copies as well. Saved me a trip to Home Depot! I will hired again when I need a locksmith.

We have used their service before in our garage with no complaints but I was very disappointed this time. I had asked in writing to have 2 commercial deadbolts. My husband who was working intermittently at home and requested adding a commercial locking door knob to the front door. The front door locks are sturdy and seem secure. I wasn't pleased but I could have lived with the garage door knob lock replacement; however, it is worse than the previous standard builder's lock. It appears to go no more than 1/8 inch into the plate. Also none of the plates on the doorframes were replaced/upgraded. This was suppose to include a security check. He should have noticed that his work there did not appear very secure. Hoping for a re-do.

Joshua was very prompt and communicative. He refuted the issue we brought him out to repair, identified the correct problem and repaired the door. We then had another issue with our front lock and he fixed the tumbler and provided additional non=duplicating keys. Both of these problems had been “repaired” by other locksmiths. His pricing was very fair and we could not be happier.

We had called another company and we didn't know it but they were just a distribution company. They sent someone that we told to leave but on their way off they broke a piece on the lock on the front door. Baldino's replaced the original lock and also fixed the front door for free because they were appalled at what the other guy had done. They did a great job for us when we needed it. My husband just called them again for additional work.

Estimate was $215 for rekeying deadbolt and knob locks on front door. He wanted to sell me a commercial lock instead of rekeying my 6 yrs old Schlage locks. Declined service.

He was very good. Explained the options and did the work effectively. He had to drill, so he cleaned up after himself.

If you want prompt service but slow and faulty installations, KeyedIn is for you. We called KeyedIn after someone tried to break into the garage and jimmied the doorknob lock. We were locked out of the garage, and to their credit, KeyedIn sent a technician (Clifton Reed) that afternoon. Clifton arrived promptly at 1:00pm and after discussing the older locks on our house, we decided to replace the front and back door locks in addition to the garage. The technician was very slow, and after only installing one lock in three hours, called for backup. After six hours, the technicians installed 3 deadbolts and 2 doorknobs -- finishing their work just after 7:00pm. The total cost of parts and labor was just over $1,100. Two days later, our newly-installed front doorknob jammed and the door wouldn't open. The handle turned loosely, but the latch wouldn't catch. I called KeyedIn, and again they promptly sent over the owner, Shay Knaani, to fix the handle. Shay initially accused us of slamming the door and causing the issue, but ultimately realized the installation was faulty and replaced the latch. KeyedIn did not charge for this labor, but Shay also did not offer an apology even after trying to blame us for the issue. Seven days later, our new garage door handle jammed and we couldn't access the garage! The manager at KeyedIn explained that Clifton had been let go for a number of faulty installations and suggested we should get a partial refund. Shay quickly called and came out within two hours. He first, however, asked us to repeatedly push and pull the door handle and jimmy the key to try to get the door to open. He again accused us of slamming the door -- this time to the garage -- and causing the jam. Frustrated, I demanded that he come back and fix the new faulty installation. Taking another two hours from work, I met him that afternoon. Using a screw driver, he unstuck the door and tightened the latch. Again, he did not apologize for the issue or accept responsibility for the problem. It wasn't his original installation, but it was one of his original employees. He did not feel that we deserved any refund, even for partial labor, for our time or the bad installation. When I told him that I would write this up on Angie's List and Yelp, he accused me of trying to blackmail his company. Full installation has taken 3 appointments and 10 hours total .. and that's just in the first week. Who knows if we'll have more issues to come! Most frustratingly, KeyedIn and Shay did not accept any responsibility for two jams occurring from their installations. We have been in this house for nearly five year without any issues with our doors or locks (until the garage break-in). KeyedIn, while prompt in their service, did a terrible job delivering quality installation.

Udi of DC Locksmith came out to analyze the problem and he presented a solution that would save us time and money. He modified the door frame to prevent the door lock from sticking and rearranged the door lock in a way that extended its use. We did not need to purchase any additional materials and Udi's solution saved us at least $500.00!

Technician came out and was very polite, friendly, professional and provided his opinion on a few services he recommended for various areas of my house. He was not salesy nor pushy about the services. The installation of the deadbolt and door lock went well and he made sure I tested it thoroughly and was satisfied prior to leaving. Although the price was higher than I anticipated its great to know I have new commercial grade locks on the door after having tenants in prior to me purchasing the home.

Once the work was approved, they got us onto the schedule within a week and the installer did a fantastic, professional job. We are now having them do additional work for us. The respond promptly, communicate clearly, act professionally and offer a great service at a reasonable cost.

Mr. Dinku is terrific! We've actually hired him now on four different occassions. In each case, he's been incredibly effective and thorough -- even with a superbly pesky iron security door lock problem that required him to reset the door in an old c***-eyed frame. It ended up being a much more complicated job than either of us anticipated (and he'd done lots of simple jobs for us beforehand), but he stayed until the job was done well. He's excellent, and I'd recommend him unequivocably.

Tom showed up on time and got right to work...no issues at all. Made the appointment 90 minutes in advance and he fit me in without a word. The positive feedback on AL and his proximity to our location in Silver Spring made it an excellent fit. No corporate up charges or other nonsense; got it done, gave me two keys for each lock, and was done in 45 minutes. Would strongly recommend for residential or commercial services.

They wanted me to take a photo of the lock and email to them. I do not know where my camera is so I did not call back nor do business with them. A friend of mine took care of my problem.

Calling to make an appointment at 9:30 at night, I was surprised to get a voice instead of a machine. We set an appointment Thursday night for Saturday. Friday morning, they called to ask if I would prefer later Friday morning, which was great with me.. When Roy arrived promptly, we discussed my options and what I wanted to accomplish. He brought out three different lock choices at three different price points, and we discussed the benefits of each. There was no pressure to choose one type over another. When I chose, Roy set to work, removing the older locksets and installing the new, changing the tumblers to re-key three locks to one key. The work was done professionally and quickly, the clean up left no trace that any work had been done. From start to finish, this contractor was one of the best I have used in any type of work in my homes. They have a clear website, they are straight forward in providing information and pricing, and they do the job efficiently. Every question or concern that I had was answered. I received good value for the dollars I spent, and will call them again for any service they offer. I entrusted KeyedIn with personal security and property protection, my standards are high. They exceeded my expectations in every way.
