Jeff came to our house and went over possible carpet selections. He understood what our timeline was for living in the house and discussed appropriate options and prices. He explained the difference between the various levels of carpet and did not try to get us to upgrade to a price level we didn't need. Scheduling the installation was very easy and all communication was pleasant and professional. The day of installation, the two workers who came were quick and efficient. They did a really nice job with the new carpet and we are very happy with the finished product. We would use this company again for sure!

It was excellent. They worked with us to keep the drying and eliminate any problems the wetness could cause first and then worked with us on multiple options to get the new carpets out, based on pricing and our budget. Jason was an excellent guide and helpful in us choosing the new carpets and they installed it quickly and efficiently.

My first experience with this company was when I met Willy, the owner. He came to my house, did an estimate and gave me different options on what could be done in my older home. After selecting the best option for us, Willy's employees arrived on time and worked for eight hours. The house flooring was in good shape, but had many floor boards that needed to be screwed down to eliminate squeaking. The men moved all the furniture in and out of each room and no marks were made on the newly painted walls. The men were very efficient and professional at all times. Willy even called me later that evening to make sure there was no problems with his company's work. I told him how happy I was and that "I was finally squeak-less".

Overall we are very pleased with the quality installation performed by the Arlandria team, the product supplied, and the assistance provided by Justin Byrd there who was professional and detailed. Its a decision we've been very pleased with as the old carpet retained ambient moisture from the basement and contributed to a moldy/musty smell. The laminate has virtually eliminated this problem. The new laminate has stood up well to the play of our 9 month old puppy and made clean up of "spills" a breeze. The installation team performed the work over a couple of days and even helped conceal some audio cables behind quarter-round along the baseboard.

Quick and professional. They were in and out within a half hour, everything done to satisfaction. I will be getting them for my future carpet cleaning/repair needs.

We had lots of furniture and a full closet and took the time to relocate as much of our personal items as possible. That eliminated many of the possible concerns and started the project off right when they realized only a few pieces of furniture would have to be moved.

First of all, working with Claws Carpets has been a pleasure from day one. I picked them because of their consistently great reviews on Angie's List. In response to my email, Bobby came out to our townhouse to determine what needed to be done to fix our wall-to-wall carpet, which was buckling, and squeaky floor underneath. We also asked him to inspect our wood flooring in our living/dining rooms. Roy was refreshing to deal with, pointing out even more issues with the carpeting, given his expert eye, and counseling us to live with the wood flooring since we are only staying five more years in the townhouse - he meticulously inspected the wood flooring, pointing out issues for our consideration. He was also honest that the carpet work was not something they could do right away, given their current busy schedule with their carpet crews. He promised to provide an estimate on the carpet/floor repair and to get us scheduled as soon as possible. We were so impressed that three days later (a Saturday), we drove over to their Braddock Road store and met Roy, his younger brother. Our intent was to look at wood floor options, recognizing that we would have to wait on the carpet repairs - we had already been impressed enough to wait till later in the year. Roy was wonderful to work with as well. He showed us flooring options, taking into account our requirements and budget. We discussed the carpet repairs and Roy was able to schedule us for a couple of weeks after our visit, stating he would put his best team on the job. Clawes' installers and teams have all been with the company for a long time - i can attest their workmanship, punctuality, and attitudes are all outstanding. We spent an hour in the store with Roy and his store manager and decided that Clawes was the right company to replace our wood floor as well (that is scheduled for January 2016 to accommodate our schedule). Clawe's team arrived within the one hour window today and immediately toured each room with my wife, noting each issue, and then got promptly to work. They moved heavy furniture, pulled up carpeting, screwed down the flooring, replaced padding in some places, replaced tack sticks, reinstalled and power stretched the carpet, replaced the furniture and cleaned up. The only sign that they had been in our house were the perfect looking carpets and zero sqweaks as we walked the floors. We could not be happier and look forward to the wood floor installation in January. Thank you Bobby and Roy.

Severe stain was removed completely. He coated the almost removed stain and did my carpet area. Having the chemical sit for a little bit allowed time for it to break down, allowing it to be completely removed. All those years of experience allowed my sofa to be back to original color. THANKS!

The remediation and technicians were excellent! They explained what they were going to do, covered and taped damaged location including vents, etc. Removal of the damaged areas and replaced with mold resistant drywall. I am very pleased and my health has stabilized some because of their great work.

They arrived in the specified time frame. They quickly removed the carpet. They did not check to remove all the staples from the floor so I have had to remove at least a dozen myself. Threads of carpet remained here and there so the clean up could have been more thorough.

Contractor arrived promptly; removed existing carpet and padding; laid new carpet and pad, while preserving existing baseboard footer molding, which is normally removed and discarded.

The technicians were prompt, and showed up on time. They professionally assessed the scope of damage, and documented the problems with photographs. They removed the damaged carpet, padding, and vanity base. They placed dehumidifiers and drying fans. After 72 hours of drying, the technicians returned, tested and verified that the drying was successful, and removed the equipment. The technicians were considerate to tape down hoses and cords that crossed walkway paths. They removed the damaged materials and their tools following each visit.

All went really well. The basement once again looks as good as new and carpet cleaning on the main floor went really well, all old stains I was unable to remove nor chem-dry were removed by Absolute and I would definitely use them again

I had a leak underneath my apartment building and it turned into grey water so you can imagine how bad the smell was. The people living in the apartment were having to smell this trash smell throughout the whole day. I had some other restoration companies come out to give bids but they were all too high and they exaggerated most of what they were saying to jack the prices sky high. I had read on google and angies list how great these guys were so, I decided to give them a shot. I called and spoke to Darius and he was fast to save the day. Darius and hiseam t showed and took care of the job within an hours and a half. They cleaned up the grey water. They also put some odor absorbent down and the apartment no longer had the smell. That saved me and my tenants from lots of frustration and money literally flushed down the toilet. These guys even left extra bags so that if we had any future problems, I could put this odor absorbent stuff down to take care of the immediate problem. These guys are trustworthy and very knowledgeable. They deserve every star that they get. I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me.

Deivin did an awesome job coordinating all work and keeping me informed of the progress. He was also very responsive and addressed all my concerns promptly and to my satisfaction. The short version: I cannot say enough good things about Darius, his team, and my experience with Flood Damage DMV, Given the nature of when you'd need a crew like this to come into your home, you're already in a pretty vulnerable place--this team truly made me feel like everything was going to be OK, and the work they did made absolutely sure that I will be! If you're in the same place that I was, dealing with a water/structural disaster in your home and wondering which of these services to use, just stop looking now and give them a buzz. You will be so glad that you did. Now, if you want the TL;DR version: The toilet line in the apartment above mine leaked into my ceiling, and eventually into my walls, culminating in it all coming down all over my carpet, sofa, etc. Michael came out within 45 minutes of my contacting someone at Flood Damage DMV to do an assessment. He was genuinely caring, professional, transparent, and detailed about how he was doing his assessment and the potential work that would need to be done. I think that's worth stating the estimate was extremely reasonable and incredibly detailed. The best part was, they could also start the same day - the day before Thanksgiving. When the crew arrived, they were all as respectful and thoughtful as Darius had been. I had told him that I was planning to haul my sofa and coffee table to the dumps later that day, and asked if they could help me move it out to the driveway in the meantime. They did that--and then Darius offered to have his crew haul it, since they had extra room and they would be going there anyway--no extra charge. That was one of the many examples during my experience working with Swift that was maybe a "little" thing, but it goes a long way when you're already dealing with such a rotten situation in your own home. The crew worked super quickly and cleanly, and were as undisruptive as a crew of people tearing up ceilings and floorboards could possibly be. The machines ran for three days inside of the dust tent that they built, and just before they were scheduled to be removed, I found that the leak from the ceiling that caused the whole mess was still happening! Darius arrived at the same time as my landlord (who I had informed) and the upstairs tenant (whose toilet was causing the problems)--but before the plumber. He immediately offered to leave one of the fans with me until the plumber could come, since there was bound to be a bit more leaking before they could fix it. He very sternly but respectfully educated both my landlord and the upstairs tenant about exactly what needed to be done, and why, and that they needed to do it as quickly as possible (communicating the impact and seriousness of this situation to my landlord had been a struggle, and Michael was aware of this). The message got through, thanks to him! Flood Damage DMV incredible service assured my home will be clean and safe to live in.
