Tanner Irrigation IncI would give no stars if possible. The owner of the company, Waverly Tanner just showed up to winterize my irrigation system and I must say he is a loose cannon with a major attitude problem. As he arrived, I asked him to move his car up 10 ft as I was just finishing blowing leaves and he had just parked right in the pile. He turned around at the end of the street and then proceeded to park in the same spot. I asked him again to please move up. He got out of the car and approached me in a very confrontational way yelling at me that he did not have time for this (no mask of course) so I told him to leave. Totally unprofessional and would advise people to stay away from this person.- Chris B.

Design Tree Maintenance IncThey gave me a very thorough estimate and detailed review of what they would do. When it came time to do the work they were thorough and it was more complicated then he first expected. The tech did a good job. I had a minor problem with a leak on two pop up sprinklers had a small leak, after a few days I called them to notify of the issue. They came back and made necessary adjustments.- CAROLANN I.

Premier Irrigation & LightingMy irrigation system's valve was cracked rendering it useless. I called Premier for assistance and even though they were pretty busy (spring), they were able to address my issue within a few days. Brent came out, saw the issue and replaced the part in a few minutes. He also reset my irrigation schedule to what would be the best for this time of year. Green Side Up LandscapingBill Gallagher, one of the owners of the company, came to my residence to discuss scope of work needed. He was very through with the details and clearly explained the scale of work and materials needed. He suggested ways I could save on expenses with repurposing materials onsite and simply tie new irrigation heads into existing lines. Quality of work and materials used were excellent. They could have used a sod farm located closer to the job site to save on time and money, but chose to use one further away because the quality of the sod was superior. In all instances, communication was prompt and clear. I plan on using them for future work and would recommend Green Side Up Landscaping for any landscaping and lawn care needs.- Warren W.

Green-Up Irrigation Inc.Not good, sensor was defective, we had leaks in the main valve; which water company checked out, and it was not thru their system, but the irrgation system. Owner did not return our messages on his emergency number for 2 or 3 days. Never called before coming so we could be home to open garage door, or never showed up when he said he would. We had to bypass the system to have the sprinkler system work, because the sensor didn't work. Did not assist us for problems after he got paid.- Anne P.

Mr Handyman of RichmondAll work done was excellent. The peg-board installation was top-notch and my garage now looks organized and cleaned-up. The underneath of my back deck roof looks brand new. My hot tub is now moved and accessible for repairs to be made. Miscellaneous "smallish things" that have needed doing since I first moved in 10 years ago are now done. Karl was my guys all three (3) days. (He was excellent. In fact, I requested him 'by name' after day 1.) While I could have looked elsewhere and likely saved money (Mr. Handyman is not cheap), it was a matter of "you get what you pay for" and it was definitely money well spent. I would recommend Mr. Handyman to others and will definitely use them again.- Mark W.

Southern LandscapingSouthern Landscaping came in and did an amazing job with landscaping our back yard. The landscaping including creating two rock gardens, mulching all natural areas, building a stone border around mulched areas, and putting in a drainage system to support heavy rains washing away problem areas of the yard. They also planted trees and multiple bushes and plants to add to the overall impact. Our backyard looks simply amazing! We have lived in our house for almost 20 years and our yard never looked so beautiful! We have now hired Southern Landscaping for weekly mowing and weed maintenance.
