R K Barker IncWe hired RK off of Angie’s List - and he’s been GREAT. This was a 10 year home that we just purchased and hired RK to build out an office before we moved in. He tired his best, but overall the project was two weeks late. I do not fault RK - I pushed to get him to squeeze me in during a very busy time and he did his best to accommodate our needs. Not all of his normal subs were available so he had to find alternatives. The tile installer - did a FANTASTIC job - but he took a week longer than expected. To be fair - he never said when the project would be complete - he said he would try his best - and that he did. RK is someone you can trust. I gave him full access to the house so his team could come in a work on the weekend and after their normal day to make sure he didn’t need to work around our schedule. He was onsite almost every day and always treated me with respect and professionalism. The only non-positive was the painter. The normal team was not available so he hired an alternative he had used in the past - and they had to return several times to finish things up. In the end - RK made it right and and he made sure it was done correctly. No drama - no stress - RK just took care of it. One note about RK. He’s a GC - he’s not a designer (nor does he claim to be). If you want someone to help you pick paint color - he’s not the guy - bring a designer. If you want a high quality product and someone that can manage all the moving pieces - then look no further than RK Barker. In the end - RK created a wonderful space and would hire him again to take on my next job (which is a master bathroom/closet and a total gut of our kitchen).- Daniel E.

They took down the garage door and built a wall as well as taking down the sliding glass doors and replacing it with a wall.
