Nick and his team did an amazing job on our home renovation. We tore out a wall and made some structural changes, and AMF finished everything beautifully. They repaired some issues with the ceilings, finished the drywall, made a bunch of other repairs, and painted the ceilings, walls, trims and cabinetry in our newly open floorplan upstairs. Most importantly, AMF was easy to work with, dealt with changes and questions thoughtfully and efficiently, and the results are beautiful.

Marcio was great to work with. His team worked hard everyday for over a month to repair and paint the exterior of our victorian house that was in disrepair. He made sure to match all of the detailed mouldings for areas that needed replacement. He also rebuild the front porch laying down mahogany decking that makes a great statement to the found of the house. Very happy with the results!

Jeff Fisher Windows & ContractingWhen I bought my 100+ year old house in West Roxbury, the double-hung windows were the most awful replacement windows imaginable. Not only were they ugly as sin, they were barely functional. Some of them wouldn't close completely, some of them wouldn't open at all, and some of the sashes were crooked. Jeff came out to measure the windows and make recommendations. I replaced all of the double-hung windows with Anderson (wood inside, no-maintenance outside) and other windows with Marvin awning models, as Jeff recommended. He spent a great deal of time with me discussion the options, and then patiently helping me decide on details, such as number of divided lights. The exterior window frames and sills had been clad in aluminum or vinyl, and Jeff explained that there could be water damage underneath. They replace these if necessary with MDF (I believe) on a board-by-board basis, for a reasonable price. After I placed the order, Dennis took over for scheduling and invoicing, and arranging for the building permit. There was a delay of several months because they were booked well in advance. As it turned out, the Anderson windows came in a bit earlier than expected and there was a break in their schedule, so those were done first. The guys who did the work were professional and pleasant, with good communication skills. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day. I had been focusing on function, eagerly anticipating having windows that actually worked, and I was stunned by how beautiful the windows are, and how much better the house looks from the inside and outside. Another unexpected benefit is that the screens are much less visible than what I was used to. The guys did a great job on the frames and sills that they replaced. After the double-hung windows were in, I decided to replace the 3 double-hung windows in the garage, so placed another order. By the time the Marvin windows came in, COVID infection rates had increased to the point that I was concerned about having anyone in the house. Dennis could not have been nicer about waiting to install them until I was ready. The job was completely quickly after I gave them the go-ahead. It's been about 6 months since the job was finished (I should have done this review long ago) and the windows function beautifully. I give Fisher Windows my highest recommendation.- Marie K.

DG ConstructionI do not have enough words to explain the level of satisfaction upon project completion. I look at the house now and it feels like I live in a totally new home. This company worked very hard to accommodate every request I asked for. They performed and worked diligently, any issues that came up along the way as the project evolved was immediately discussed with me for approval. Updates were given throughout. For each day worked, the team made sure my place stayed clean at the end of the day which I found very impressive. I was given a date for project completion and they had everything done as promised. There were small details that needed a final touch and the team was always receptive, welcoming, and made sure it got taken care of right away. Norman BuildersIt was a pleasure working with Ryan Norman on the extensive interior renovation of our 1895 Andover home, and we are incredibly pleased with the results. Every phase of this project was well organized and managed, starting with the contracting negotiation phase. Ryan patiently worked with us to revise the contract multiple times to include as many details up front as possible, so as to minimize unexpected surprises from both the construction and cost perspective. We found his trade crews took pride in the high quality of their work, a reflection of their attention to detail. We also found Ryan’s costs to be market competitive, and the few unexpected expenses were discussed in advance and transparently explained. We realized various value-add modifications during the process and Ryan gamely and easily made the improvements. As homeowners, we were very picky about the final, high-end finish for this kitchen and bath remodeling; and, so, we approached Ryan already having selected a granite fabricator and cabinetry supplier. While I have no doubt that Ryan can make excellent referrals to integrate these services on any project, he worked professionally and seamlessly with these other companies. Ryan also kept up good communication to ensure that we made finish selections on time to avoid undue delays. Ryan brought all of the pieces together to deliver a beautiful product in a timely fashion. Work included: chimney removal; kitchen and bath demolition to the studs; hardwood floor removal, subfloor modifications and hardwood floor installation; significant carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling and painting; re-framing and installation of windows and doors; and installation of high end built-in appliances and custom cabinetry with crown and other trim details. All inspections easily passed, and we have great confidence in the construction and will enjoy our beautiful new kitchen and bath for years to come!
